"The physical tools that set Umberger apart were evident from his first Scout Day in February 2023. He continued to develop and prove himself every step of the way over the next two summers. Blake attended the PA state games and earned his way to the Future Games at Lake Point (GA) in 2023 and 2024 to showcase those tools on the biggest stage. As the 21st-ranked prospect in the '26 rankings, he has above-average arm strength, can handle a high-end pitching staff, and displays a next-level bat. The future looks bright for Umberger.
