While our 2024 winter event schedule is in full gear, we want to highlight some of the standout players from last weeks events. These are players, that are uncomitted, who caught the attention of Prep Baseball staff.

Tristan Fanning RHP / Upper Merion, PA / 2026Very efficient bullpen. Commanded FB well on both sides of the plate. 12/6 CB with depth will keep hitters off-balanced. Looking for a break out Sophomore season.

Luca Cavaliere 2B / SS / Spring Ford, PA / 2026Strong day overall. Good athlete who can go get the ball. Smooth actions and a strong accurate throw. Hit the barrel often during BP.

Adrian Rodriguez RHP / 1B / Mccaskey , PA / 2025
Rankings StateRank: 48 / POS: 19
Does everything with power. Physical swing with EV up to 96mph. On the mound, strong lower half drive. FB explodes out of the hand reaching 90mph. Good mix with hard SL. Closer potential at the next level.

Rankings StateRank: 123 / POS: 29
Impressive workout. Legit 2-way athlete at the next level. Top of the leaderboard in everyhting. Easy juice with the bat and a strong OF arm (OF Velo: 94mph). Also, spotted FB well on the mound and effective 4-pitch arsenal.

Rankings StateRank: 142 / POS: 21
Continues to get stronger. Big pop in the bat from the left side(EV-99mph). Clean catch and throw behind the plate. Puts the ball on the bag (POP-2.04, C-Velo: 80mph)

Rankings StateRank: 70 / POS: 7
Another legit 2-way prospect. Really plays the game hard. Explosive bat and a big OF arm (OF- Velo: 89mph). Strong build and quick arm on the mound. Very competitive bullpen. 3 off-speed pitches to go w/ power FB.

Dylan Jackson 3B / RHP / Hempfield , PA / 2025
Rankings StateRank: 133 / POS: 15
CG keeps rolling out 2-way prospects. Dylan might have the biggest upside w/ long levers and 6'2' frame. Stays tall in everything he does using a leverage approach. EV up to 91mph and 3-pitch mix on the mound.

Rankings StateRank: 243 / POS: 36
Good motor, high energy athlete. Swiss arm knife player. Rangy indfielder (60: 6.85) with good hands and a strong arm (IF velo: 85mph). Quick arm on the mound. Used different arm slots had a solid 3-pitch mix. Will get outs.

Rankings StateRank: 20 / POS: 8
Sophomore 2-way prospect already on the radar. Conitues to improve. Big power potential with a 380 distance max. Shoved on the mound with FB up to 89mph. More in the tank.

Rankings StateRank: 21 / POS: 5
Really fun to watch workout. Twitchy athlete who makes the game look effotless. Really quick hands and easy barrel turn. Continues to improve and has a high celling.

Brendon Baiocco C / 2B / Avon Grove, PA / 2027Burst on to the big stage with this workout. The freshman has some tools. Really fast bat turn with EV already at 90mph. Atheltic catcher with a qucik release. In a room with some really good arms, Baiocco put up the best POP time (1.95). Ready for high school baseball.

Caleb Bachman C / OF / FRIENDS CENTRAL SCHOOL, PA / 2026LHH catcher with some juice in the bat. Solid gap-to-gap approach. Soft hands and a seamless transfer behind the plate. Poised for a big sophomore season.

Hudson Novodor OF / LHP / THE SHIPLEY SCHOOL, PA / 2026A LHP with 2-way potential. Good command of all 4 pitches. Ran his FB up to 84mph w/ ASR. Explosive bat with quick hands. Stays behind the ball well with a flat barrel path. EV up to 91mph.

Matt Rader 3B / RHP / Allentown Central Catholic, PA / 2025Impressive workout with 2-way potential. Stocky corner infielder with a strong arm across the diamond. Some lift in swing with EV of 88mph. Also had his FB up to 82mph with good feel for offspeed.

Owen Fogel OF / RHP / Salisbury, PA / 2025Corner OF with power potential and a strong arm (OF-velo: 86mph). Showed a solid gap-to-gap approach with EV up to 87mph. Also had pitchabilty on the mound with good feel for 4-pitch mix.
