Western PA Top Prospect Games Preview: Red Team

The 2016 Western PA Top Prospect Games will take place on June 14 and 15 at Seton Hill University. The Top Prospect Games have become the premier event of the summer for aspiring college prospects statewide and continue to grow in popularity every year.
For the first time in five years the Top Prospect Games will be divided into two events at two locations for the summer of 2016. The Eastern PA Top Prospect Games will follow the Western PA event on July 19 and 20 at La Salle University.

Today we begin a series of articles previewing the rosters of each of the six teams that will participate over the course of two days. A total of six nine inning games will be played with each team playing one game per day.

The Red Team has a strong WPIAL presence with eight of the 13 players on the roster hailing from District 7. 2018 RHP Christopher Wallace is the lone pitcher only on the roster and will get the ball to start Game One on June 14. The 6-foot-5 Norwin sophomore is currently ranked No. 26 in the PA Class of 2018 and has shown a mid-80s fastball from a 3/4 arm slot.
A trio of Hollidaysburg Tigers dot the roster in OF/RHP John Servello (No. 37) and C/RHP Tyler Peterson (No. 62) ranking among the top prospects statewide in the Class of 2017. 2019 RHP/SS Sam Servello also got his feet wet for the Tigers this spring at the varsity level showcasing a power fastball.
Others to Watch:
2017 OF/C Boston Bradley (Bishop McCort) - 6-foot-1, 175-pound left-handed hitter was a key run producer this spring for the Crushers scoring 25 runs while driving in 12.
2018 SS/2B Anthony Michalski (Mars Area) - 6-foot-1, 185-pound right-handed hitter was a major contributor this spring showing signs of developing power.
2017 RHP/OF Neal McDermott (Greensburg Central Catholic) - 6-foot-2, 190-pound two-way prospect was a late addition to the roster following a spring in which he went 4-1 with a 1.85 ERA and hit .377 with 18 RBI. The left-handed hitter banged out nine extra base hits including three home runs.
