Unsigned Senior Showcase: Late Additions
November 8, 2012
As the old saying goes, "Better Late than Never". With the PA Unsigned Senior Showcase just three days away, a few late additions have added considerable talent to the field of prospects.
- Hunter Kotzmoyer is a 5-foot-11, 175-pound outfielder from Big Spring HS who just recently registered. The three sport athlete runs a sub-7.00 60-yard and has been an All-Conference performer each of the past two years. Kotzmoyer was selected to represent Team Pennsylvania in the first annual Big 26 Classic against Team Maryland.
- Jake Ferrante is a 6-foot-3, 215-pound RHP from Abington HS with a power arm. Ferrante has seen significant gains in velocity and has touched 90mph this summer. He has a big upside and should continue to develop further.
- Andrew Schuler is a 6-foot-1, 170-pound RHP from Perkiomen Valley HS. While not as physically imposing as Ferrante, Schuler has also touched 90mph recently and has command of his complimentary pitches as well. Schuler had a 13 strikeout complete game this summer in a showcase tournament.
The event, which is top heavy with unsigned pitchers, will now showcase 14 arms who have yet to commit to a college program.
