Physical: Strong, well put together 6-foot, 180lb frame. 7.38 runner in the 60.

Offensively: RHH. Narrow, slightly bent stance, as the hands operated at the shoulder in rhythm. Utilized a stretched lift and replace stride to initiate the swing through a fluid uphill path towards a two-handed finish. Wide attack that produced deep carrying contact to the pull-side of the field. Recorded a T93 mph bat-exit velocity during his batting practice round with big power potential and acceleration scores.

Defensively: The backstop featured a calm glove hand from a right knee down receive. Alternated stances and got rid from a useful transfer/arm-slot on the bag. Worked down to a 2.00 pop time with 78 mph arm-strength and controlled body when blocking.

6/15/21

Physical: Strong, well put together 6-foot ,180lb frame with some projection left (even proportions). 7.50 runner in the 60-yard dash.

Offensively: RHH - Upright/balanced, slightly open stance with some rhythm in the hands at a high start; utilized a traditional lift and replace stride outward towards the pitcher landing even before launching through an easy flat path into the hitting zone. Wide attack and found success with a lofty approach through the middle of the field during his batting practice round (T88 mph bat-exit velocity via Trackman, 64% fly ball rate). Generated consistent backspin to the pull-side gap, allowing for some extra-base hit abilities in game action. Strong middle of the order presence with early connection in the swing.

Defensively: The primary backstop featured a controlled left knee down setup in the crouch using a soft glove hand at the catch point. Pop times ranged from 1.96-2.04 in showcase setting with ability to absorb the pitch and hold low posture out of the crouch. Minimal pre-catch rhythm pointing towards natural catch/throw success in game action, working up to T75 mph arm strength from low ¾. Could block well on either side of the plate with positive, downward chest angles.

2/07/21

Physical: Strong, lengthy 5-foot-11, 175-pound frame. 7.68 runner in the 60-yard dash.
Offensively: RHH - Balanced, wide setup with some early sink into a low postured position in the box; utilized a back load coupled with a short, simple leg lift stride in order to unleash the barrel through an easy, flat path and into the hitting zone. Stayed somewhat upright in the approach generating pull-side contact at head height. Hit into a stiff front side yielding an 89 mph bat-exit velocity and 321 peak batted ball distance.
Defensively: Primary catcher featured solid receiving abilities from a traditional crouch, hand worked softly at the point of attack, pop times ranged from 2.05-2.14 using efficient straight line footwork. Strong arm (76 mph) behind the plate with a feel for quickness in the transfers; should work well in game. Improving blocking ability as well deadening the baseball over the plate with recovery skills .. The outfielder showed off an adequate glove hand, which was moderately stiff at the fielding window. Kept momentum in line and stayed in the legs yielding accurate 81 mph throws from his position with room for more.
