Scouting Report
6/14/22
Physical: Strong with twitchy athleticism at 6-foot-2, 185lbs. 6.71 runner in the 60.
Offensively: RHH. Balanced, even stance, as the hands operated at a 45 to begin. Utilized a stretched leg-lift stride that maneuvered off of the rear hip, delivering a flat, whippy path into the hitting zone. Plenty of hard barrels to the pull-side of the field with easy upside in the class. Top of the order approach, gap-to-gap mostly, and found a T95 mph exit velocity via Trackman.
Defensively: The outfielder features middle of the field capabilities with a quick first step and body awareness in space. Rounded the ball to either gap and delivered a much improved 79 mph arm-strength to the bag.
2/12/22
Physical: 6-foot-2, 185 pounds; Athletic, muscular build. 6.57 runner in the 60. Offensively: RHH. Open setup, with feet shoulder width apart; bat positioned at a 45 degree angle. Drops hands on the way back with a slight leg-kick for timing. Stays behind the ball while showing an average effort from the legs. Showed a direct swing path with a one-handed finish. More line drives than flyballs and groundballs with a peak exit velocity of 92 MPH via Trackman. Defensively: Starts with an upright /tall setup; walks into ready position while showing active feet. Hands are off to the side with a clean transfer. Moderate arm circle from a high 3/4 arm slot. OF - 80 MPH.
