Scouting Report

6/15/20

PhysicalThe 6-foot, 171-pound prospect showcased an athletic frame with sneaky strength throughout while using long levers. 6.95 runner in the 60-yard dash.

Offensively: RHH. Crouched, even stance with rhythm in the setup utilizing a quick lift and replace stride coupled with a load to the shoulder for launch. Generates a whippy, slightly uphill barrel path through the hitting zone while using the whole field during an impressive batting practice round. Consistently on time at the front of the plate and demonstrated adjustability in an athletic lower half. Can stay on the offspeed pitch and shoot it the other way and showcased a quality approach in game action. Recorded a 94 mph bat-exit velocity per Trackman Baseball.

Defensively: The middle infielder featured long, fluid actions during defensive evaluations creating advantageous hops with regularity. Hands were loose and played aggressively through the baseball when needed. The footwork created downhill momentum towards the target which only further helped the accuracy of throws from multiple arm angles. Can play at a quick pace in the middle and is very decisive on routes; made the play on the run with ease. SS - 81 mph
