Since the early summer, our boot-on-the-ground scouting team have seen 450+ players at showcase events, Limited Series Tournaments and the National Future Games. Already, 100's upon 100's of players have caught the eyes of our professional scouting staff here in PA, all with dreams of playing baseball at the next-level. Over the the next few weeks PBR PA will be highlighting "Top Performer Spotlights" on players who really stood-out and offering "Quick-Hit" thoughts on the players.

Cevette's Quick Hit: At first glance, the WPA junior has a lanky, athletic looking build, one that will easily add 20-pounds to without restrictions. Athletic yes, evidenced by his 7.19 60-yard dash and easy lateral movements during his defensive evaluations. The glove plays at the next-level with a clean release and serviceable arm-strength (79 mph). He hits from the left-side with an upright, very relaxed approach. Hands stay inside the ball, barrel path is slightly uphill, really easy barrel whip through the zone. I'd like to see him get more aggressive with the bat as he develops his strength. Fun 2021 prospect to keep eyes on this winter/spring/and summer.
