Temple to Cut Baseball Following 2014 Season

In an unfortunate turn of events, Temple University announced today that they will be eliminating baseball as part of a cost savings measure to help support the remaining 17 athletic programs. The move is set to take place following the 2014 school year according to Philadelphia Inquirer reports. (CLICK HERE for full story)
Three prospects from Pennsylvania, RHP Alex Pantuso (Baldwin HS), OF/C Marten Pauwels (Springfield Township), and C Robbie Nardelli (Valley View HS) all recently signed their NLI to play at Temple and will be affected by the move.
Eight additional Pennsylvania players that are members of the 2014 Temple roster, and that will still have NCAA eligibility following the 2014 season, will also be affected.
