ROOKIE REVIEW
What We Liked: The 5-foot-8, 145lb two-way prospect flashed easy actions and showed off compact athleticism in the movements, blending over to all sides of the ball. Offensively, the right-handed hitter was able to match plane with good sink into the lower half and a tight, sudden turn that produced flush middle of the field contact. An interesting defensive round with smooth footwork and easy arm-strength transferred over to a strike-throwing bullpen, utilizing a firm 80-81 mph FB (80% zone rate) and advanced curveball. The base is set for continued growth and you'd have to think more strength will be there for reinforcements.
