Preseason All-State Showcase Spotlight: 2019 IF Cam Conley

The Preseason All-State Showcase annually draws in excess of 100 of the top uncommitted prospects in the state. This winter's event will take place over two days at Keystone State Baseball Academy in Manheim on February 16th and 17th.
As we draw closer to February we will be periodically highlighting some of the prospects scheduled to participate. Today we continue our preview with a look at 2020 infielder Cam Conley.

Scouting Report
2018 PBR Future Games - Team Pennsylvania
1.28.18 - 5-foot-9, 150-pound right-handed hitter starts from a slightly open stance and utilizes a controlled leg-hang stride to initiate his swing. Displayed an above average feel for the barrel while making consistent hard contact with the ability to create back spin. Ran a 6.96 and showcased more than enough arm strength defensively (84 mph) to stay on the left side of the infield. Displayed active feet, a soft glove hand and the ability to make plays on the move. Athletic frame has room to add additional strength.
10.28.17 - 5-foot-8, 145-pound right-handed hitter starts from a slightly open stance and utilizes a leg-hand stride to initiate his swing. Demonstrated a solid feel for the barrel with an uphill swing path that creates some backspin. Registered an 81 mph bat exit velocity and ran a 7.08 60-yard dash. Displayed a soft glove hand and active feet with the potential to be an advanced defender. Showcased the ability to make throws from multiple arm angles with accurate 81 mph arm strength across the diamond.
