Pennsylvania Players Selected in the 2015 MLB First-Year Player Draft

The three-day affair that is the Major League Baseball First-Year Player Draft played out roughly as expected this week. Seven Pennsylvania high schoolers were among 1,215 players selected over the course of 40 rounds, although most of them were likely not drafted high enough to forgo their college commitment. In addition, 19 players who cut their teeth in Pennsylvania high schools were drafted out of the college ranks (13 from NCAA Division I programs and six from NCAA Division II schools).
