HIGH SCHOOL DRAFT 100 PROSPECTS
Mike Siani, OF, William Penn Charter HS, PA (Virginia)
Sean Guilbe, SS, Berks Catholic HS, PA (Tennessee)
OTHERS TO WATCH: LHP Mason Ronan (Penn Cambria HS, PA) has just begun to fill out his 6-foot-2, 205-pound frame. The Pittsburgh recruit has room for physical development and a fastball that sits 89-91 mph, touching higher. His curveball has biting 12/6 action, but command of both pitches has been an issue. OF Kyle Hess (Donegal HS, PA) impressed at the Super 60 Pro Showcase in February. The 6-foot, 190-pound left-handed hitter has shown above average pull side power this spring to go along with 6.5-second foot speed. The Pittsburgh recruit has taken extra BP for pro scouts at nearly every high school game this spring. RHP Brock Helverson (Perkiomen Valley HS, PA), RHP Tyler Burchett (Red Lion Area HS, PA), C Josh Spiegel (Penn-Trafford HS, PA), RHP Kris Pirozzi (Lampeter-Strasburg HS, PA) and SS Nick Lucky (Cocalico HS, PA) have all received considerable interest from pro scouts this spring and are each candidates to hear their name called in the later rounds.
