No. 6 Malvern Prep 10,  Friend’s Central 5
Nick Bateman was 2-for-3 with two runs scored and an RBI as Malvern Prep moved to 21-5 on the season. Drew Luzzi went the first four innings, giving up one hit to pick up the win. Joe Ravert got things started in the first inning with a two-run home run.

No. 7 Blackhawk 4, No. 3 Hopewell 1
Blackhawk (15-2) gained revenge for a loss earlier in the season to Hopewell (16-2). Matt Emge, an Ohio State recruit, hit a bases-loaded double in the sixth inning to bring in three runs and lead Blackhawk. Brendan McKay, the No. 2 ranked player in the Class of 2014 by Prep Baseball Report, picked up the win for after allowing six hits and striking out six.

No. 8 Cedar Crest 3,  McCaskey 2
Tied 2-2 in the bottom of the sixth inning, Cedar Crest catcher Josh Hammaker hit what turned out to be a game winning home run. Logan Fullmer went six innings for the win and Cameron Mathis came on in the seventh inning to pick up the save. Cedar Crest moves to 15-3 with the win.

No. 9 Northern York 10 ,  Greencastle-Antrim 6
Cody McLaughlin hit a third inning grand slam and Dylan Tamecki hit a solo home run in the fourth to propel Northern York (13-4) to the victory.

Peters Township 1,  No. 14 Upper St. Clair 0
With the win, Peters Township (7-10, 6-4) made the race for the WPIAL Class AAAA Section 3 title much more interesting. Upper St. Clair falls to (13-4, 8-3). Both teams trail Section co-leaders Bethel Park and Mt. Lebanon who sit at 7-2 in the section.

No. 15 Penn Charter 6,  Haverford School 0
Kenny Koplove, the No. 6 ranked player in the Class of 2012, dominated on the mound.  Koplove went 7 strong innings striking out 11. At the plate Koplove was 2-for-3 with two RBI and two runs scored for Penn Charter (19-4).

Seneca Valley 5,  No. 17 Shaler 3
Continuing its late season push to enter the PBR state rankings, Seneca Valley (12-3) downed No. 17 Shaler 5-3.

No. 19 Hershey 16,  Milton Hershey 0
Hershey (14-1) scored three in the first, five in the second, and eight in the third to top Milton Hershey in three innings.  Hershey totaled 11 hits in the three inning affair.

No. 20 Saegertown 12,  Maplewood 0
Continuing its string of shutouts and shortened, 10-run wins, Saegertwon (15-0) won again. Tyler Walters carried the big stick going 2-for-3 with a three-run home run in the first inning and four RBI. Stephen Sada was 2-for-3 and scored twice. Luke Carter pitched a complete game two-hitter with eight strikeouts.  Carter also doubled and scored a run to help his own cause.

North Allegheny 7, Fox Chapel 0
Chris Helkowski allowed two hits while striking out eight and walking one for North Allegheny (8-8, 6-3) in a win over Fox Chapel (3-12, 3-8). James Meeker had three hits for North Allegheny in the win. Fox Chapel played its first ever game on its brand new artificial turf infield.
