On August 4th through August 6th, PBR Pennsylvania will take a select team of players in the Classes of 2018 and 2019 to represent Pennsylvania at the PBR Future Games at Grand Park in Indianapolis, IN.
Players receive exposure unlike any other event for underclassmen. Last year, more than 130 colleges from all over the country were in attendance, including coaches from every Division I power conference in the nation. Only players who have a legitimate shot at being a Division I recruit and who have an interest in the possibility of making a verbal commitment during their sophomore or junior seasons have been considered.

TEAM PENNSYLVANIA SPOTLIGHT: 2018 RHP/OF Adam Schwartz
Name: Adam Schwartz
Position: RHP/OF
Class: 2018
State Ranking: 19
Height/Weight: 6-foot-1, 195-pounds
High School: Ephrata
Summer Team(s): Black Sox Elite
Most Recent Showcase/In-Game Performances:
Date: 2/14/16
Scouting Report: Developed 6-foot-1, 195-pound frame. Explodes off the rubber with a quick arm out of an up-tempo delivery that incorporates an overhead rocker. Struggled to find a consistent release point, as he was spinning off hard with significant head whack that caused his hat to fall off routinely. Even though the delivery is raw and will require some clean-up, there's no ignoring his fastball that checked in at 87-89. A low-70s curveball tended to back up on him due to his release point issues, although the best pitch he threw the entire bullpen was a solid 11/5 CB out of the stretch when he stayed more under control and on-line to the plate. Will need to maintain better arm speed on his change-up.
Physical right-handed hitter starts from a square stance and initiates his swing with a heel raise stride. Displayed a very short swing path, with quick hands and an explosive lower half leading to a bat exit velocity of 96 mph. Schwartz' hands work well through contact and finish high creating some backspin and present power. The sophomore ran a 7.09 60-yard dash and flashed advanced arm strength (92 mph) from his outfield position.
