Pennsylvania Players Shine at WWBA Underclass World Championship

A total of 168 of the best travel baseball teams in the world descended on Ft. Myers, FL the first week of October. When all was said and done, a total of 15 prospects from Pennsylvania were recognized for their play.
The accolades were highlighted by two players being named to the Prime Nine Team. The Prime Nine are prospects who have been selected as one of the top nine players at the event.
J.J. Matijevic, currently ranked No. 1 in the Class of 2014 rankings, went 7-for-13 with a homerun and 7RBI to earn his slot on the Prime Nine Team. Zach Jancarski, currently ranked No. 2 in the Class of 2014 rankings went 7-for-14 with 4RBI over the course of the tournament to also earn a spot on the Team.
