Holy Ghost Prep 5, Bristol 1

Sophomore RHP Shane Turpin, ranked No. 70 in the PA Class of 2021, worked six solid innings while allowing just four hits to lead Holy Ghost Prep to the win. Turpin struck out six and walked three while throwing 88 pitches. The underclassmen was working on a shutout until yielding a solo run in the 6th, his final inning of work.

The Firebirds did just enough offensively with five hits as a team and benefited from five walks. Corey Dimario went 1-for-2 with two RBI and Jack McDermott doubled to pace the Holy Ghost offense.

With the win the Firebirds moved to 15-1 on the season. Bristol fell to 7-9 with the loss.
