souderton 6, Christopher dock 2
In non-conference action, Souderton (8-5) found a way to get at bats for 20 different players using eight hits and eight walks to plate six runs in a 6-2 win over previously unbeaten Christopher Dock (11-1).
David Guilbon (2-3, 2B, RBI) and Kyle Meller (2-3, R, RBI) paced the Indians offense. Nolan Bolton (2-4) and Andrew Walters (2-4, RBI) were the lone multi-hit performers for Christopher Dock.
Souderton used four pitchers with 2019 lefty Aaron Groller working two scoreless innings in relief to earn the win. The sophomore who will participate for Team Pennsylvania in the 2017 PBR Future Games struck out three and allowed one hit.
For additional notes and measurable information on Groller and Bolton, as well as other prospects scouted in other Monday afternoon games around the state, check out today's Pennsylvania Scout Blog.
