Fall Program Week Two Results

The 2nd Annual Fall College Prospect Program moved to La Roche College yesterday for Week 2 action. The fall format involves two nine inning games and a showcase at each of three stops over the course of the month of September.
2017 OF Chase Smith (Central) went 3-for-8 following up on a 5-for-7 performance in week one. The 5-foot-9, 165-pound sophomore has the shown the ability to stay inside the baseball and makes consistent hard contact.
Uncommitted senior Ty Reginelli (Mars Area) also impressed. The 5-foot-10, 165-pound left-handed hitter went 3-for-8 over two games including a triple on a ball hit to the center field wall. Reginelli flashed an 88 mph arm across the diamond and an 87 mph bat exit velocity.
2016 RHP Jacob Kinsell (Carmichaels) used an effective cut fastball, changeup and curveball to register six strikeouts in his three innings on the mound. Nearly as impressive was the performance of 2017 RHP Neal McDermott (Greensburg Central Catholic) who worked three innings and registered five strikeouts of his own.
Over the coming week we will break down all prospects in attendance by position. For now, here are the top measurable performers from Week Two along with complete statistical results.
