Scouting Report

6/14/22

Physical: Stocky, imposing 6-foot, 185lb frame. 7.49 runner in the 60-yard dash.

Offensively: RHH. Square stance with a slight bend in the knees, as the hands showed at a 45 by the shoulder. Utilized an early leg-hang stride to initiate the swing through a direct, vertical path into the hitting zone. Allowed the arms to get involved, recording a T90 mph exit velocity up into the 345 foot distance range. Consistent, moderate-effort approach, which barreled the ball often during his round (78% sweet spot).

Defensively: The first baseman featured a lower posture in the base and chopped the feet before fielding with a soft glove-hand. Shuffled to the target and reached back for 80 mph across the dirt from H ¾ slot.

Pitching: RHP. Begins off the left side; compact delivery and timed up arm-stroke from a balanced landing position. The FB ranged 81-84 mph with heavy action (1717), mixing a sweeping 69-71 mph CB with similar intent.
