Eastern PA Top Prospect Games Spotlight: 2020 C/OF Marcus Hill
May 18, 2019
The Eastern PA Top Prospect Games annually showcases roughly 70 top uncommitted prospects across the state and from a few surrounding states. 2019 marks the 8th year for this event with hundreds of former participants having gone on to college commitments and to professional baseball.
As we draw closer to June we will be periodically highlighting some of the prospects scheduled to participate. Today we continue our preview with a look at 2020 OF Marcus Hill. The right-handed hitter showcased an 83 mph bat exit velocity at the Holiday Showcase in December and potential behind the plate with 73 mph arm strength out of the crouch.

Scouting Report
5-foot-10, 160-pound right-handed hitter starts from a square stance and initiates his swing with a short, leg-hang stride. Showcased balance throughout with above average barrel awareness with an ability to use all fields. Registered a bat ext velocity of 83 mph and ran a 7.39 60-yard dash. Sound receiver displayed solid footwork and a clean transition on throws of 73 mph from the crouch with pop times of 2.20-2.26. Solid frame and sound fundamentals in all phases of the game make Hill an interesting follow over the coming year.
