This year's PIAA shools reclassification creates an interesting semifinal matchup. Harbor Creek and Hickory have both had their fair share of success in recent years. However, due to being previously in different classifications they have not met.

Hickory
PBR Ranked Players: None
Offensive Leaders: Branden Myers (.364 Avg, 13 R, 17 RBI), Joe Gaisor (.317 Avg, 15 R), Cameron Wahlen (.288 Avg, 15 RBI, 7 2B, 3 HR)
Pitching Leaders: Aaron Erimias (65.1 IP, 1.18 ERA, 49 K, 6 BB), Nate Hado (21.2 IP, 3.88 ERA, 19 K, 11 BB)
Overall Record: 13-5
Record vs Remaining Playoff Teams: 2-2
Comments: The weather delays should put both team's aces back on the mound to start. This favors Hickory as Erimias has been the Hornets undisputed workhorse while Harbor Creek has considerably more depth on the hill. Erimias will have to be at his best to hold the powerful Huskie offense in check. Key will be the play of Trombetta and Myers. Both players are high energy table setters who can put considerable pressure on the defense when on base.
