By Greg Williams

Warwick 5, #1 Hempfield 0

  • The Black Knights fell for the second straight game as they could only muster three hits against Warrior pitching.

Mt Lebanon 5, #2 Bethel Park 3

  • The Blue Devils took advantage of five Black Hawks errors to pull off the road upset.

#5 Methacton 15, Perkiomen Valley 1

  • Marist-bound Tyler Kirkpatrick hit a 2-RBI triple and a 2-run HR in a 10-run 3rd inning for the Warriors.

#6 South Park 13, Elizabeth Forward 0Wardropper

  • USC-Aiken commit Nick Yobbi threw six shutout innings, allowing six hits and recording six strikeouts.  Six Eagles picked up double-digit hits, while 2014 Ryan Wardropper (right) had two of his own for the Warriors.

#7 Hopewell 9, Blackhawk 4

#8 Peters Township 1, Brashear 0

#12 Pittsburgh Central Catholic 7, McKeesport 0

  • This game was suspended due to weather with Central Catholic batting in the top of the 5th inning.

#14 Pine-Richland 14, Allderdice 0

  • The Rams scored in every inning of the mercy-rule shortened game, giving Williams College commit Marcus Colella (CG 4 H, 3 BB, 4 K) more than enough run support.  The 1-2-3-4 hitters -- 2013 David Laylock (1-2, 3 R, 2 RBI, 2 BB), 2014 SS Daane Berezo (2-4, 2 R, 2 2B, 2 RBI), 2013 Shane Heim (2-3, 3 R, 2 RBI, BB), and Eastern Kentucky-bound Shea Sullivan (1-1, R, 2B, 3 RBI, 2 BB) -- did most of the damage.

#16 Malvern Prep 9, St Joseph's Prep 3

  • Seton Hall-bound Joe Poduslenko (3-3, 2 R, 2B, 2 RBI) led an 11-hit attack in support of 2015 LHP Brendan Inglis (5 IP, 4 H, 2 BB, 6 K).

Seneca Valley @ #17 North Allegheny

  • Postponed until today at 4:00pm.

#18 West York 10, New Oxford 2

  • The Bulldogs scored seven runs over the last three innings to pull away from the Colonials, who committed six errors on the day.

Archbishop Wood 5, #20 Neumann-Goretti 4

  • 2014 IF Matt Mandes hit a bases-loaded 2-RBI walk-off single in the bottom of the seventh as the Vikings split the two-game home-and-home series with the Saints.

#21 Plum @ Gateway

  • Postponed until today, start time TBA.

Eastern York 1, Bermudian Springs 0Godfrey

  • An unearned run in the bottom of the sixth was all 2014 LHP Terry Godfrey (CG, 5 H, 4 BB, 7 K) needed to secure the win.  Godfrey (right) was matched practically pitch-for-pitch by 2015 Clayton Hoff (6 IP, 5 H, 1 BB, 4 K).

Conestoga 10, Haverford HS 7

  • In the first game all season that Conestoga didn't win by mercy-rule, the Pioneers plated five runs in the top of the 7th inning to earn the victory.  Tommy Richter (Penn State) belted a home run and racked up 4 RBI as part of a 13-hit effort.

Red Land 0, Cumberland Valley 0 (suspended)

  • Red Land 2014 RHP Zach Newmyer (8 IP, 5 H, 0 R, 1 BB, 7 K) and CV's Villanova-bound Hunter Schryver (7 IP, 3 H, 0 R, 3 BB, 9 K) did not give the offenses much chance to get going.  Two lightning delays forced the suspension of this pitcher's duel in the top of the 9th inning.

Radnor 5, Springfield HS 3

  • 2013 RHP/IF Adam Erkis earned the complete game win, allowing 9 hits and 1 walk against 11 strikeouts.  Eriks was also the only Red Raider to post multiple hits on the day.

Keystone Oaks @ Chartiers Valley

  • Postponed due to rain.
