State Games Spotlight - '25 INF Ryan Davis
November 18, 2024
As we continue through the offseason, Prep Baseball Oregon is reflecting upon their showcase circuit and highlighting standout performers from 2024. Today, we continue our State Games Spotlight series, specifically looking at players that participated in this year's Pacific Northwest State Games. These spotlights are meant to showcase players that Prep Baseball Scouts felt showed standout tools, large improvements in overall game, or potential upside moving forward at the summer's biggest event. College coaches and recruiters should be sure to keep an eye on these prospects in the coming months.
This week we spotlight 2025 INF Ryan Davis. The Central Catholic High School product had two strong showings this year, first at the Portland Summer ID - Session II followed by the Pacific Northwest State Games. The lean framed 6'0 athlete showed some interesting tools throughout with plenty of room to add strength in his frame.
Davis ran a solid 7.17 60-yard dash time in addition to a sound defensive showing during the workout portion of the event. At the plate, Davis showcased a mature approach during BP rounds, finding the barrel and driving the gaps with ease. Below is a complete breakdown of the senior's State Games performance, including scouting reports and video from the event.
