Oregon Rankings Update - Class of 2026

As the travel ball and summer circuit nears an end, Prep Baseball Oregon continues with the latest Player Rankings Update. From Summer ID events to our first ever PNW State Games, Prep Baseball staff saw hundreds of top high school prospects in the area throughout the summer months. We continue with the second week of our three week slate of updates with the Class of 2026 Rankings Update.

As always, the evaluation and rankings process is a fluid and ongoing ordeal, with multiple viewings needed to obtain the best feel for players abilities. It’s important to note that as players continue their development some show marked improvement at a much more rapid pace, and as a result will leapfrog other prospects in the list. This does not indicate that other players got worse or went backwards; this is simply the nature of player development. As the year unfolds, players make improvements and new prospects pop up on the radar expanding the Prep Baseball rankings universe.  In addition to the evaluations of players, our scouts, both those in Oregon and nationally, have also had multiple discussions with each other to review our individual lists and attempt to make the most informed rankings lists possible.

Featuring a total of 60 prospects, the class of 2026 list showcases top-end talent with loud tools and an increasingly deep talent pool throughout the list. Below is our top 10 list and scouting notes on some of the top risers within the 2026 class.

Top Risers

#5 2026 SS/RHP Jacob Rolling (Jesuit)
Twitchy athlete was a PBR Future Games Participant in Georgia this summer and showcased a strong all-around game. Short, quick swing path from the RH side with plus batspeed. Natural mover defensively with ability to stick on the dirt. On the mound, features quick-paced delivery, riding back side down the mound. Sat 83-84 MPH, topping out at 85 MPH, with a CH/CB combination to partner with the heater. Plenty of room to grow into frame makes Rolling an exciting follow moving forward.

#12 2026 LHP August Ware (Glencoe)
Lean 6'5 lefthander gets a bump up the rankings after a quality showing at the first ever PBR PNW State Games last month. Filled up the zone with a true four-pitch mix, with a FB sitting 82-85 MPH as his primary offering. Balanced, repeatable delivery with late intent gave clean overall look. Spin rates suggest more velocity in the tank as strength continues to build. High upside arm.

#18 2026 RHP/INF Gianni Lombardi (Marist Catholic)
Two-way prospect that impressed in multiple looks this summer. Wiry strength present. Features quiet, slightly open setup with high leg lift widening base. Mostly line drive approach but showed ability to drive ball in the air as well. On the mound, showcased four-pitch mix, with a FB sitting 81-83 MPH, topping out at 84.3 MPH. Repeatable delivery with high hand break into 3/4 slot release. Sound all-around performer.

#23 2026 C/1B Maguire Gray (Sherwood)
Physical, strong backstop had one of the louder BP rounds this summer in a recent ID showing. Hands fire quickly with strong lower half to drive multiple balls out of the yard to the pull side. Had a 101.9 MPH max exit velo, averaging 91.3 MPH and a max batted ball distance of 383 feet. Sound defensive actions behind the plate, working upward through frames and staying around the bag on throws down to second base.

#30 2026 OF/RHP Graeme Warner-McGee (Lincoln)
A standout showing in an early summer event leads to Warner-McGee rising up the rankings. FB/SL/CH combination on the mound, with the FB topping out at 82 MPH. Steady delivery into late intent with over-top slot release. Arm strength and athleticism translate to outfield. At the plate, features wide lower half with uphill swing path, working from a firm front side at contact with a pull-heavy approach. Lean strength present. Intruiging follow.

#57 2026 INF/RHP Braden Nugent (Homeschool)
Medium framed athlete with a well-rounded showing earlier this summer in Eugene. Some batspeed present from right hand side, hips fire quickly with longer one-hand finish. Keeps feet moving well in the infiled with quick release. Also flashed four-pitch mix on the mound with a FB sitting 79-81. Compact, tight arm action with over-top release gives natural life to FB.
