At the Top
#1 2025 LHP Kruz Schoolcraft (Sunset)
The 6'8 lefty and 2024 Prep Baseball Oregon High School Player of the Year continued his dominance throughout the summer an fall circuits. The highly-touted arm is the 21st ranked 2025 prospect nationally and is the second highest ranked player in the class currently uncommitted.
Schoolcraft overpowers hitters, using his frame to generate plus extension down the mound to pair with high-end stuff. The FB was more in the low 90's in early 2024 looks but has jumped up to 97 MPH at some national events. The slider/changeup offspeed combination has flashed potential, and the lefty has made tweaks to continue to sharpen the offerings.
Though the upside on the mound is enormous, Schoolcraft has also shown big time power from the LH side of the plate, as well as at least average speed and defensive actions at 1B. The top ranked player in Oregon boasts traits few pitchers possess with the combination of size and athleticism, creating massive projectability.
#2 2025 OF Slater de Brun (Summit/Vanderbilt)
De Brun is one of the more electric position player athletes in the class, showcasing plus plus speed and twitchy movements at a USA 18U Trials look. The Prep Baseball Future Games alumni has held a top ten spot in the Oregon state rankings for two full years and has continued a steady upward trajectory, even generating some potential late-day draft buzz.
The lefthanded bat starts in a slightly open setup, maintaining a tight coil throughout the entirety of the swing. Accelerates through contact well for size with a firm front side at contact producing some loft to the pull side. The bat-to-ball skills stand out in multiple looks over the years, with some power continuing to develop. Partnering this with enough arm strength and plenty of speed for any of the three outfield positions makes de Brun one of the more dynamic prospects in the area.
#3 2025 RHP River Hamilton (Sam Barlow/Louisiana State)
The 6'3 athlete is another long-standing top prospect in the area, ranking in the state of Oregon's top ten 2025 prospects since the creation of the list. The lean prospect is a highly projectable athlete with more velocity likely coming, but already is one of the area's best arms.
At a summer look at USA's 18U Trials, the righty sat 90-94 with the fastball with a smooth delivery. Showcased two different breaking balls with a shorter slider in the low 80's and a loopier curveball in the upper 70's. Hamilton fills up the zone well and has a clean arm action with a controlled deceleration post-release. Recently flipping from Oregon State to Louisiana State, Hamilton should continue to show high-upside stuff post-2025 at either the collegiate or professional level.
New Additions
#18 2025 LHP Carson Boyer (West Linn/Gonzaga)
Boyer built off of a strong spring showing at West Linn, showing a clean operation with a fluid delivery and arm action. The FB velocity took a significant jump from the low 80's in the spring to sitting 86-88 in recent looks. The lefty partners the heater with a sweepier slider and a CH to drop in occasionally, both sitting in the upper 70's. Boyer is a unique look for hitters, as he features a low-slot release with some cut present in the FB. The jump in stuff throughout 2024 led to Boyer rising up the ranks the most in the 2025 Oregon class.

#36 2025 RHP/INF Elliott Wear (Lake Oswego)
The medium framed righty showed out at the PNW State Games event over the summer on both sides of the baseball. On the mound, Wear's FB comes from a quick, whippy arm action, giving it added life at 83-87 MPH. Flashed a four-pitch mix overall, with a sharp slider spun 2400 RPM+ the standout of the offspeed deliveries. Though the arm currently leads the way, Wear's bat showed plenty of promise as well, with a repeatable swing from the RH side and a quick bat through the zone that averaged an 88.1 MPH exit velocity in BP.
#121 2025 RHP Calvin Martinez (Jesuit)
6'0 right hander threw the ball well during in-game portion of the PNW Senior Games. Retired 11 of 13 batters faced with 5 strikeouts. FB/CH/SL mix shown with feel for all three offerings. FB topped at 80.5 MPH with both secondaries sitting in the low 70's. Lower spin rates on all pitches with clean operation could suggest a possible jump in velocity coming. One of the best pitching showings from the fall event earned Martinez a spot on the latest rankings list.
