GAME 2 RECAP
THUR 7/27 VS 14U IOWA/NEBRASKA
After a rocky start, the PNW 14u Junior Futures came out ready to compete. ’27 Noah Kwon (Lake Washington, WA) got the rally going in the top of the first with a one out walk and later advanced into scoring position, eventually scoring on a WP when ’27 Titus Vidlak (Fruit Land, ID) reached on a walk.
Vidlak came around to score the second run on a hot triple down the RF line by ’27 Pete Browand (Peninsula, WA).

’27 Caden Grubb (Montesano, WA) held it down on the mound going 4 strong innings, only allowing one run on three hits.
The next breakout inning came in the top of the third with ‘27 Joaquin Jr San Nicolas (Timberline, WA) scores after a ball driven deep to left by Kwon. Unfortunately, the three early runs wouldn’t be enough to hold up against the offensive Iowa/Nebraska squad with the final score ending at 8-3.
