Pitching recap
Blaise Heher OF / RHP / Lake Oswego, OR / 2022Rankings StateRank: 18 / POS: 3
FB: 80-81. Heavy, sinker type of life out of hand. Commands down in the zone to both sides of the plate Absolute bulldog on the mound who goes right after hitters with an aggressive, competitive demeanor. His strength/athleticism from the OF translates well to the mound, giving him consistent body control and a high ¾ release that creates more angle than you might anticipate. Polished 3-pitch arsenal. |
J. Noble Meyer RHP / OF / Jesuit, OR / 2023FB: 83-87. Relatively straight with life & downward angle Commands to glove side. Overall, Meyer has some of the best upside we’ve seen early on in the ‘23 class. His size, arm action and current stuff make him a high follow with the chance to develop into a national level prospect. Could see a significant jump in pure stuff as he gains size/weight onto his 6-foot-3, 170 pound frame.

Mason Spellecy 3B / RHP / Hood River Valley, OR / 2022Rankings StateRank: 5 / POS: 2
FB: 83-86. Ball comes out of hand easily with life/carry thru the zone. Low effort arm action with easy velocity. Spellecy pitches with sustainable effort and has the potential to stick as a starter with his size/frame. He’s still filling out his wide-set build and could tap into considerably more velocity down the road. Despite his long levers, the arm action is short/compact with continuous action. Stays balanced throughout with late effort thru finish. |
