2024 West Coast Games Team PNW Preview: Outfielders

Dylan Grenz
Associate Scout

On Friday, October 4th through Sunday, October 6th, top uncommitted 2025 prospects and select 2026 prospects will participate in the 2024 PBR West Coast Games. This three-day event held at three premier venues will consist of a pro-style workout on day one, followed by two days of gameplay over the weekend.

Prep Baseball's West Coast Games serves as a premier event for uncommitted rising upperclassmen on the West Coast. The event will give an unparalleled opportunity to each player in attendance by delivering a “one-stop-shop” for college coaches to recruit. Beyond the on-looking eyes of scouts and coaches, Prep Baseball's unmatched coverage and commitment to elevating players via advanced metrics and technology (Trackman, Blast Motion and Vizual Edge), along with multiple social media platforms, will provide elite exposure for each player in attendance.

Today, we continue our preview of Team PNW by highlighting the outfielders. Prospects are listed alphabetically by last name. Stay tuned on PBR social media channels the coming week for further West Coast Games content, including further team previews, full roster breakdowns, and unveiling pitching rotations.

2024 West Coast Games: Team PNW

Outfielders

Braden Bartholomae OF / Skyline, WA / 2025

Strong, athletic framed righty. Ran a 6.97 60-yard dash at a recent PBR event. Real batspeed leads to big exit velos in BP rounds and legitamite in-game power. Quickness in all directions in the outfield with quick release, compact slot throws and above average arm strength.

Briggs Ellis OF / O'Dea, WA / 2025

Medium framed, plus athlete has seen steady growth in recent months. Mature approach at the plate with a 97.5 MPH peak exit velo at PNW State Games. Some twitch present, sound reads in outfield. Best 60-yard dash time of 6.89 seconds. Athleticism plays in-game.

Ian Kolmer OF / RHP / Ida B. Wells-Barnett, OR / 2025

Strong-framed 6'1 athlete coming off of standout spring and summer showings. 6.98 runner in the 60-yard dash. Peak exit velo of 99.3 MPH at PNW State Games, strong through contact with batspeed present. Versitile prospect can play multiple spots in the field, and will attend West Coast Games as a two-way player.

Matthew Talbot OF / Mount Si, WA / 2025

Another strong, athletic OF with tools flashed in previous looks. Ran a 6.87 60-yard dash at PNW State Games, and peaked with a 100.1 MPH peak exit velo at another event earlier in the summer. Fluid movements in the outfield with enough arm strength for all three spots.
