The Great Lake Canadians Florida Schedule Is Released

One of the top programs in the country, the Great Lake Canadians will be in Florida (St.Petersburg) playing games against teams from Florida, New York, and Missouri with their 17u and 18u rosters.

Many clubs from Ontario head down to Florida for Spring Training games of their own. It gives players an early advantage to get on the field, see live pitching and game action. Great Lakes will have a handful of top prospects on both teams for the week.

On the 18u squad, they will lose members who are with the Canadian Junior National Team, but top players such as Matt Warkentin, Max Wright, Mat Szabo, and speedster Nicholos Hamilton will carry the load and pick up the missing pieces for the 18u team.

On the 17u team, they will have a handful of live arms, with both Spoljaric brothers Hunter and Garner leading the way. Jake Wilson is a strong outfielder who is ranked 17th in the 2016 class. Other arms like Justin McDonald and Tyler Whalen will be guys to watch along with 2017 middle infielder Thomas Grilli.
