Preseason All-State: Max Fastball Velocity Released

Our 2nd Annual Preseason All-State showcase proved to be more impressive than year one due to the high talent level of all the players involved. It's still February, but the pitchers set the tone for the day coming out of the gates firing. 25 pitchers were over 80-mph, 11 ranging between 83-85 mph, and 2017 RHP Tanner Cooper (Canandaigua Academy) made the headlines topping 86 mph from a pitchers build, showing above average feel for all pitches.

Here's a quick look at the max pitching velocities from the Preseason All-State event held in Whitesboro NY.

* All Pitching Velocities were recorded from a Stalker Pro 2 radar gun - the only gun used by MLB.
