Background: What you want them to look like, the 6-foot-3, 210-pound first baseman who can also provide some innings of the mound does more than pass the eye-test with his muscular frame and size, looking like he has stayed in the weight room for quite some time. The left-handed hitting first baseman had an impressive workout at the Windsor Open ID this winter and has carried that into his season as Richardson blew up in Oklahoma at the Sunbelt Classic where he was one of the toughest outs in the tournament and showed the bat speed and power potential that we saw in March this year. An adequate defender who is comfortable around the bag at first, Richardson has solid tools across the board with a high ceiling and lots more to come from an offensive standpoint as he continues to develop his swing. A good chance he becomes a run producer at NKU and has the potential to be a middle of the order bat.
