Tulsa Preseason ID: Hitter's Data Dive

Scott Hood
Oklahoma Scouting Director

Prep Baseball Oklahoma hosted it's first ever Tulsa Preseason ID on MLK Day January 15th.  While the winter weather didn't play as nice, it didn't stop a few prospects from showcasing some impressive skills with multiple players standing out and catching our attention from the 2028 class, all the way to a 2024 prospect that programs at the next level are going to want to know.  The event featured laser timed 30 yard dashes, jumping data, BP with Trackman and Blast Motion, defensive evaluations with radar gun readings, bullpens with Trackman data captured, and Vizual Edge testing to complete the showcase.

Today we take a look at the top performers in the hitting data captured by our tech partners in Trackman and Blast Motion.  We cover the ball flight data with Trackman and have all the top swing metrics captured by Blast Motion down below.
