Our premiere Preseason All-State event was hosted at Oral Roberts University on February 11th featuring 120 players from all across the state.  Prospects from the 2024 class to the 2027 class participated in a pro-style workout that featured BP with Trackman and Blast Motion data, defensive evaluations with radar gun readings, 60's, jumping data, grip strength, Vizual Edge testing, and finished with bullpens with data captured by Trackman.  The event was flooded with multiple players putting together noteworthy performances and in the coming days we will continue to bring more content from the event.  Today we take a quick look at 35 position player standouts from the event with notes on each.

Luke Beeler C / 1B / Holland Hall, OK / 2025 Beeler topped the event in a couple of offensive categories with a max exit velo of 97.8 mph and he top average across his round at 92.5 mph.  While the bat has always played at a high level with power potential and advanced barrel control, the defense continues to show signs of improvement, especially behind the plate where Beeler shows a quicker release with pop times ranging in the 1.90-2.08 range.  Beeler is still one of the top remaining power bats in the 2025 class and should garner a lot of attention from schools at the next level.

Rhett Winchester OF / Edmond Memorial, OK / 2025 Winchester continues to show signs of improvement with a strong showing at the Preseason All-State that saw him set a personal best in the 60 at 6.57.  To go along with the athleticism, Winchester added a 95.3 mph exit velo with quick hands through the zone and strong overall bat speed.  His ability to land the barrel matched with his game changing speed makes for him to be a must follow prospect heading into his junior campaign.

Jackson Turney 1B / LHP / Sand Springs, OK / 2026 It was our first look in person at Turney since the fall where he has put in a lot of work in the offseason in tightening up the body into a more athletic frame.  Even at a leaner build, Turney was able to set personal bests in multiple categories at the Preseason All-State with max exit velo up to 97.8, average of 90.5, and infield arm strength recording at 79 mph from first base.  Turney was able to get leaner while gaining strength which should continue to set an upward trajectory for him in the future.

Joey McLaughlin OF / LHP / Harrah, OK / 2025 McLaughlin burst onto the scene last summer and continued to impress with another strong showing at the Preseason All-State.  The left-handed bat worked exit velos up to 92.9 mph with an average of 84.4 mph across the round.  While the numbers might not be quite as high as they were this past summer at the Future Games, the mechanics of the swing look improved with a little more rhythm and barrel control.   One of the more projectable bats in the 2025 class, McLaughlin continues to show the high end tools both with the bat as well as his running ability to garner attention as he heads into the spring season.

Jase Winchester SS / 2B / Edmond Memorial, OK / 2026 Winchester once again continues to show signs of development besting almost every single category from previously recorded data at the Preseason All-State.  The slick fielding short stop moves with advanced actions and glove work and showcases enough arm strength to remain at the position in the future already reaching up to 87 mph.  At the plate he set personal bests in exit velo (92 mph), average exit velo (84.8 mph), hand speed, (23.3 max), bat speed (73.9 max), and rotational acceleration (28.9 max).  With the improved offensive metrics and also adding in a personal best 7.09 in the 60, Winchester has a very bright future heading into his sophomore campaign and should be an intriguing follow heading into the summer.

Chance Pair C / 1B / Tahlequah, OK / 2024 Pair made his Prep Baseball debut at the Preseason All-State and showed big strength at the plate.  Pair showed high end bat speed to generate exit velos up to 93.7 mph that also showed some carry with a max distance of 310 feet.  Pair was also one of the more consistent performers behind the plate showing an accurate arm at 72 mph from the crouch to yield showcase pop times in the 2.03-2.09 range.  The Frontier Community College commit profiles as a potential power bat that can remain behind the plate at the next level and should be a key piece in Tahlequah's move to 5A this season.

Jaxon Hyde-Hererra C / RHP / Putnam City West, OK / 2024 The Eastern Oklahoma State commit had another strong performance at the Preseason All-State on both sides of the ball.  We will get into his work on the mound later, but as a position player he continues to show strength at contact working exit velos up to 94.4 and an event third best 89.2 mph average exit velo.  The arm strength continues to play up from behind the plate reaching 85 mph from the crouch to yield pop times in the 1.89-1.97 range.  While he still shows extreme upside on the mound, don't sleep on Hyde-Herrera as a position player at the next level with much of his best baseball still ahead of him.

Jackson Harris SS / RHP / Dale, OK / 2026 Harris put up strong numbers at the Preseason All-State that saw him put up some of the top metrics offensively from those in the 2026 class.  Harris worked exit velos up to 91.2 mph and had a strong average of 85.8 mph across his round.  Harris uses a combination of both quick hands through the zone and strong overall bat speed that he pairs nicely with an athletic approach to the swing.  Defensively, Harris moves confidently and shows easy footwork around the ball while registering 85 mph from across the diamond.  Harris has always shown advanced actions for the class and is now starting to tap into his natural athleticism and sneaky strength, showing even more upside for the future.

Aidan Robinson SS / RHP / Enid, OK / 2025 Robinson continued to impress in our looks at him at the Preseason All-State with strong defensive actions and smooth rhythm in the middle of the diamond.  Robinson worked exit velos up to 90.8 mph and a strong average of 83.1 mph from across the round.  Robinson continues to look stronger and filling out his 6-foot-1 and 178 pound frame with more strength.  Robinson played a pivotal role in helping Enid to the 6A State Championship game in 2023 and should continue to be a key cog in the lineup for the Plainsmen headed into his Junior campaign.

Avery Lonberg OF / 3B / Edmond North, OK / 2026 Lonberg continues to show big jumps each time we see him with a very strong showing at the Preseason All-State.  Lonberg greatly lowered his 60 time to 7.23 and showcased a big arm from the outfield reaching 87 mph.  At the plate, Lonberg worked exit velos up to 90.3 mph from the left side using a strong levered swing.  Standing at 6-foot and 175 pounds, Lonberg still has plenty of room to keep adding strength and should be an intriguing follow headed into his sophomore season.

Beckett Robinson OF / C / Tahlequah, OK / 2025 While some of the metrics from Robinson at the Preseason All-State might not have matched a couple of his personal bests, what really stood out was a much improved swing since the summer with far more rhythm and a looser path with the hands.  While the exit velocity wasn't quite as high as it has been in the past, the new swing did set personal bests in blast metrics with jumps in hand speed, bat speed, and rotational acceleration.  Robinson did turn in one of the faster 60's from the day at 6.56 and with his raw athleticism and high-end potential, Robinson should be a must-watch prospect heading into his Junior year.

Eddie Fish SS / 2B / Yukon, OK / 2026 Fish is no stranger to putting up strong performances in front of us and continued to impress at the Preseason All-State.  Fish is one of the more athletic middle infielders in the class with a 6.88 60 and showing a pretty sizeable jump in arm strength from the fall reaching 82 mph.  Fish has an athletic swing that worked exit velos up to 89.7 but it was his ability to carry over hard contact repeatably throughout the round that stood out with an impressive 86.7 mph exit velo average.  With Fish's athleticism and knack for making jumps each time we get eyes on him, he continues to be a prospect to strongly follow especially as he continues to add strength to the frame.

Isaac King 3B / C / Victory Christian , OK / 2025 King continued to show why he is one of the top backstops in the 2025 class in Oklahoma showing a unique athletic/power combo at the Preseason All-State.  King worked exit velos up to 92.1 mph and set personal bests in both hand speed max and rotational acceleration.  King lowered his 60 time to a now best of 7.11 adding an intriguing athletic element to the position.  King has present strength and should continue to make jumps in the near future as he keeps adding experience headed into his Junior campaign.

Jay Stefansky OF / OF / Edmond Memorial, OK / 2025 Stefansky continues to profile as an athletic left-handed bat after showing strong tools at the Preseason All-State.  Stefansky worked exit velos up to 88.9 mph using an athletic swing with quick hands through the zone and strong rotational acceleration to get the barrel moving quickly early in the swing.  Stefansky showed strong speed running a 6.96 in the 60 which should allow him to cover a lot of ground in the outfield.

Tyler Robinson 2B / SS / Edmond Memorial , OK / 2026 Robinson showed off his electric run tool at the Preseason All-State where he put in an event best 6.51 in the 60.  With the run tool being as impressive as it is, Robinson also put up personal bests in almost every other category on Sunday reachinga  personal best 88.5 exit velo, 24.2 hand speed max, 74.8 bat speed max, and working the ball across the diamond at 73 mph.  While the advanced run tool is a seperator for Robinson, don't sleep on his ability to handle the bat as he keeps seeing jumps and will only continue to see his stock rise more as he keeps adding on strength.

Declan Murphy 3B / RHP / Carl Albert, OK / 2025 We will dive into Murphy's outing on the mound later this week, but don't sleep on him as an accomplished hitter with a proven track record of picking up hits against elite pitching.  Murphy worked exit velos up to 91.8 mph and an event 4th best average of 89.2 mph across his round.  Murphy is able to generate a lot of power thanks to advanced strength in the lower half and should be one to keep an eye on in the coming months on both sides of the ball.

Grant Richards 1B / LHP / Deer Creek, OK / 2026 Another 2-way standout from the Preseason All-State, Richards not only showed promise on the mound thanks to his 6-foot-5 and 185 pound frame, but also put together a strong performance as a position player.  Richards worked exit velos up to 91.3 mph and had an impressive average of 85.6 mph.  He was able to generate that exit velo thanks to his natural leverage and advanced bat speed reaching as high as 83 mph.  Richards would also turn in a 7.33 60 and 81 mph arm across the diamond giving him an intriguing skill set to follow in the coming years.

Jake Ervin SS / 3B / Deer Creek, OK / 2025 Ervin sees his stock rise after besting almost every single category from last year's Preseason All-State.  Ervin has increased his arm strength across the diamond now reaching up to 83 mph with strong carry and lowered his 60 time to 7.39.  Offensively, Ervin set a personal best 88.3 mph exit velo and put together strong swing metrics on Blast with 21.2 hand speed, 74.1 bat speed, and 16.3 g's of rational acceleration.  With Ervin adding strength, he is on the upward trajectory and he is still just starting to scratch the surface on his game.

Kohen Hudson-Leggett RHP / OF / CASCIA HALL PREPARATORY SCHOOL, OK / 2025 It was our first look at the Cascia Hall prospect at the Preseason All-State and he impressed with strong attributes on both sides of the ball.  Offensively, Kohen worked exit velos up to 88 mph and showed very strong blast metrics with a 78 mph average and topping out at 88 mph.  He also showed a big arm from the outfield reaching up to 85 mph.  With his bat speed playing up at such a high level, don't be surprised to see big jumps from him in the future as he continues to add strength.

Kellen Frizzell 2B / Deer Creek, OK / 2024 The Murray State commit showed strong athleticism at the Preseason All-State running a 6.81 in the 60.  Frizzell has athletic actions in the infield showing strong lateral range and advanced glove work.  At the plate, Frizzell showed a controlled barrel to generate exit velos up to 86.8 mph and should continue to see that number rise in the future as he continues to add strength.

Brock Copass C / 3B / Bixby , OK / 2027 The backstop from Bixby is showing more comfortability behind the plate each time we see him with more arm strength and a quicker release from the crouch.  Copass reached 77 mph on throws down to second and worked showcase pop times in the 1.96-2.04 range.  Offensively, Copass used his levered swing to generate exit velos up to 87.5 mph.  With his present strength and room to continue to add to his frame, it would not be surprising to see Copass make an impact at the high school level rather quickly and should be a fun follow in the coming years.

Blake Whittington OF / 2B / Jenks, OK / 2026 Whittington continues to show his advanced athleticism with another strong performance at the Preseason All-State.  Whittington has projectable size at 6-foot-1 and 190 pounds and turned in an impressive 6.68 in the 60 while adding a 31.9 inch vertical jump.  Whittington also carries his athleticism into the swing and should continue to see jumps in offensive data as he gains more experience in the future.

Cason Hays OF / 3B / Deer Creek, OK / 2027 Hays saw big jumps in his data from the last time we saw him setting numerous personal bests at the Preseason All-State.  Hays turned in an impressive 6.72 60 which topped his peers in the 2027 class as well as adding a 31.7 inch vertical.  Hays would also set high marks offensively reaching a 23.5 hand speed max and an impressive 29.4 g's of rotational acceleration to generate exit velos up to 84.7 mph.  Hays has clearly added some strength since the last time we saw him and should continue to make bigger jumps in the future.

Tristan Tomlin OF / RHP / Deer Creek, OK / 2027 Tomlin continues to show some of the higher end tools for the 2027 class with a strong showing at the Preseason All-State.  Tomlin turned in a 6.82 60 while showing a 31.4 inch vertical jump which paired with his already physical frame of 6-foot-3 and 185 pounds makes for loads of projectability.  He also showed one of the bigger arms from the outfield reaching 85 mph.  There aren't too many players in the class that can match Tomlin's tools and projectability and should continue to be a must-follow prospect in the future.

Brock Natale SS / Broken Arrow, OK / 2025 While some of the numbers from the Preseason All-State might not jump off the page for Natale, it was his advanced defensive actions and lateral range that caught our attention.  Natale moves freely in the infield and attacks balls with confidence and advanced glove action.  The arm strength took a jump to 82 mph across the diamond as well.  Natale has an athletic swing that will only continue to improve as he adds strength and could provide a nice compliment to one of the better defenders up the middle for the 2025 class.

Mason Thornton OF / Elgin, OK / 2026 Thornton continues to show a unique skill set coming from his lean 5-foot-10 and 150 pound frame.  Thornton is able to generate a lot of arm strength from the outfield where he clocked in at 87 mph.  The arm strength paired with his advanced defensive abilities in the outfield makes for the potential of becoming an elite defender in the future.  Thornton has an athletic and controlled swing from the left side and should be a fun follow in the coming years.

Aidan Tomlinson OF / RHP / Dewar, OK / 2025 The 2-way OU commit not only impressed on the mound, but put together an impressive performance as a position player at the Preseason All-State.  Tomlinson topped the event with a 91 mph arm from the outfield and paired that with personal bests in exit velo (89.6 mph) and average exit velo (83.6 mph).  While there is big upside on the mound, Tomlinson shows some unique positional player qualities that can't be ignored.

Jackson Stewart SS / OF / Kremlin-Hillsdale, OK / 2025 Stewart showcased big jumps in arm strength at the Preseason All-State showing one of the better arms from the outfield from the event.  Stewart reached up to 89 mph from the outfield giving him a potential corner outfielder profile and has started to fill out the 5-foot-11 and 158 pound frame.

Easton Green OF / LHP / Tuttle, OK / 2025 The 2-way prospect from Tuttle not only shined on the mound at the Preseason All-State but also showed some impressive tools on the position player side.  The arm strength from the outfield stood out where he reached up to 88 mph which should offer for more fastball velo in the future.  Offensively, Green has an athletic stroke and well-balanced swing from the left side.  A proven producer on both sides of the ball, Green should garner some attention from schools at the next level heading into his junior campaign.

Braxton Brewer RHP / OF / Bishop McGuinness , OK / 2025 Brewer continued to show a strong tool set at the Preseason All-State after a strong performance at last month's OKC Preseason ID.  Brewer bested his previous recording in the oufield with an 87 mph reading and paired it with a 7.20 60 time.  Brewer also shows upside on the mound but his physicality as a position player should be something to keep an eye on in the future.

Benji Bauer C / 2B / Owasso, OK / 2027 Bauer continues to impress each time we see him with another strong performance at the Preseason All-State.  Bauer's catching abilities is what caught our attention specifically with strong receiving and blocking skills as well as lowering his pop time range to 2.00-2.07.  He shows positional versatility with soft hands in the infield and plays underneath the ball well.  While the exit velos from Sunday weren't as high as we've seen from him in the past, Bauer still shows a powerful swing built from the ground up and projects for above average gap power in the future.

Reid Smith C / 3B / Piedmont, OK / 2026 Smith continues to solidify himself as one of the top backstops in the 26 class in Oklahoma with another strong performance at the Preseason All-State.  Smith lowered his pop time range to 1.96-2.08 with a clean release as well as showing advance pitch framing skills and blocks with athleticism.  Smith shows quick hands through the zone and strong overall bat speed from the right side giving him potential to be an offensive threat at the catching position at the next level.  Smith's ability to remain behind the plate in the future and showing strength at the plate makes for him to be an intriguing follow in the future.

Jax Van Valkenburg C / 3B / Owasso, OK / 2027 The switch hitter continues to show one of the better overall swings from the 2027 class and will continue to keep making strides as he adds strength.  Jax set personal bests in multiple offensive categories with an 85.9 mph exit velo, 304 max distance, and even showed a slightly improved arm from behind the plate reaching 74 mph.  Van Valkenburg has a strong skill set already at a younger age and is really only starting to scratch the surface of what type of player he will be in the future.

Luke Hankins SS / 2B / Dewar, OK / 2025 The utility man from Dewar showed jumps in multiple categories from where we saw him this past fall and is showed an upward trend after a strong showing at the Preseason All-State.  Hankins lowered his 60 time to 6.93 and added an impressive element to his defensive arsenal working pop times as low as 2.01.  Hankins showed a well-balanced swing at the plate with barrel control that produces hard and consistent line drive contact.

Cord Nolan OF / OF / Bixby , OK / 2026 Nolan showed projectable size and athleticism at the Preseason All-State after helping Bixby capture another State Title in football this previous fall.  Nolan turned in a 7.06 60 and had a max vertical jump of 31.5 mph.  Nolan uses a quick twitch swing with strong bat speed to generate exit velos up to 85 mph and used a middle of the field approach with a level bat path.  Don't be surprised to see Nolan make big jumps in the near future as he continues to add experience at the Varsity level.
