NOC Tonkawa Uncommitted Spotlight: Caleb Lunnon

Scott Hood
Oklahoma State Director

With the JUCO season winding down, we take a look back at some of the top uncommitted prospects that took part in our scout day with NOC Tonkawa.

CALEB LUNNON

The sophomore right-hander has been a mainstay the past two seasons as a starter for Tonkawa and eating up innings along the way.  In 2024, Lunnon has worked 68.2 innings through 17 appearances, racking up a 5-2 record and recording a save while recording an ERA of 5.24.  There is plenty of arm talent in the 6-foot-2 and 205 pound working out our event up to 92.8 mph and showing a quality a feel for both the upper 70's curveball, mid 70's slider, and showing the ability to kill the spin on an upper 70's changeup.  The fastball shows some arm side run at times and does a good job of working it to the bottom of the zone.  Teams still looking for an innings eater with a ton of starting experience should take a closer look at Lunnon and his ability to navigate through lineups.
