PBR OK Preseason All-State: Trackman Hitting Files

Scott Hood
OK/MO/KS/ARK Assistant Scouting Director

PBR Oklahoma hosted the largest event in our history on February 12th at ORU that saw multiple players put up strong numbers and from all across the state.  Players went through a pro-style workout with BP rounds with Trackman and Blast Motion, bullpens with data captured by Trackman, a defensive workout with radar gun readings, and laser timed 60's to round out the day.  The Preseason All-State event allows players to show off their skills and tools right before the start of the season with scrimmages starting later this week.  Spring recruiting for schools at the next level is very targeted in who they are wanting to see and we saw a large amount of prospects that put up noteworthy performances.  There are multiple well-known faces that had strong days at the event as well as a few others that have made very strong jumps from where we've seen them in the past.  Today we take a look at some of the leaders in the hitting data captured by Trackman with eyes on exit velocities, distances, sweet spot percentages, and line drive percentages.  Be on the lookout in the coming days as we dig deeper into the data collected from the event.
