OK Players of the Week: Week 2

PBR Oklahoma will cover a position player and pitcher of the week for every week of the season this year. We will use coach and player submissions as well as notes from our own scouting to choose each every week. In the weeks to come, we may add honorable mentions or class leaders as well. Pitcher
Bode Brooks RHP / OF / Tuttle, OK / 2021The Oklahoma commit was near perfect last week and posted one of the most impressive weeks on the mound we have ever hear of. The right-hander pitched 5 innings against Chickasha on Monday and 6 innings on Saturday against Cache. Brooks did not allow a hit in either game going 2-0 with 11 IP; 0 runs; 0 hits; and a jaw dropping 26 strikeouts.

Braydon Hutchings SS / 2B / Edison Preparatory , OK / 2021The right-handed hitter batted .563 with nine hits in 16 at bats. In four games llast week the uncommitted Hutchings posted three triples, three doubles, three singles with 9 RBIs and 4 stolen bases.
