PBR OK hosted the fourth annual OK Fall Underclass Prospect Games at beautiful Oral Roberts University. Nearly 75 invite-only players showcased their skill in front of the PBR OK staff and ORU staff. The talented event saw five sub 7.00 60s, 6 90+ exit velos, 6 infield velos of 80+, 5 outfield velos of 85+, 5 sub 2.00 second pop times, and 5 max fastballs at 85 mph. Today, we take an in-depth look at the 15 outfielders from the event, below. 

Gage Arthur OF / RHP / Tulsa Union , OK / 2023 A 5-foot-9, 140-pound slim frame; OF/RHP. At the plate, the switch hitter had a max exit velocity of 82 mph. Started in an open stance with a quick load, then used a leg kick before his swing. Exhibited a level swing plane and average bat speed. In BP, shows a pull and flat/ground approach, found some barrels. Recorded an outfield position velocity of 75 mph;showed raw hands and a developing exchange. Had a high ¾ slot and a short arm action. During the event, he recorded a 60 time of 7.15.

Spencer Boles OF / C / Choctaw, OK / 2022  A 5-foot-10, 170-pound solid frame; OF/2B. During batting practice, the switch hitter showed power in the box with an exit velocity of 90 mph. Begins in an athletic stance with a smooth load, then uses a leg kick to start his swing. Displays a flat swing plane and quick bat speed, and he ends his swing with a high finish and low effort. In BP, shows a gap-to-gap approach and showing pop to the pull side, leaving the yard once. Recorded an outfield position velocity of 86 mph;showed a fluid exchange, sure hands and quick footwork. In the infield, his best throw was recorded at 76 mph across the field. Showing very consistent accuracy to the bases, he used an-over-the-top slot and a long arm action. He recorded a time of 7.5 in the 60-yard dash.

Jack Bucholz RHP / OF / Norman North , OK / 2022 A 5-foot-11, 150-pound lanky frame; RHP/OF. At the plate, the right-handed hitter had an exit velocity of 81 mph. Begins in an open a tall stance with a wrapping load, then uses a short stride right before his swing. Exhibited a straight-to-the-ball swing plane and had a high finish. Bat path creates an up the middle approach along with displaying an average effort swing. In the outfield, his best throw of the day was clocked at 86 mph;displayed quick feet and a clean exchange. Movements laterally were athletic while he fields the ball out front. Showing consistent accuracy to the bag, he had a long arm action and an-over-the-top slot. During the event, he clocked a 60 time of 7.41.

Hudson Campbell OF / Rejoice Christian, OK / 2021 A  6-foot-2, 170-pound projectable frame; OF. At the plate, the left-handed hitter's best exit velocity was 74 mph. Starts in an open a tall stance with a wrapping load, then uses a toe tap before his swing. Had above average bat speed and a flat swing plane, and he ended his swing with a level finish. Has a base hit approach to the pull side and an average effort swing. Recorded an outfield position velocity of 75 mph;had developing footwork, consistent hands and a natural exchange. Had a high ¾ slot and a long arm action with consistent accuracy to the bag. He clocked a time of 7.89 in the 60-yard dash.

Zade Cisneros RHP / OF / Clinton, OK / 2021 A 6-foot-3, 176-pound projectable frame; RHP/OF. At the plate, the right-handed hitter showed his power ability with an exit velocity of 93 mph. Starts in a crouched stance, has a wrapping load and uses a short stride to initiate his swing. Had quick bat speed, an efficient swing plane and good extension on his finish. Displayed a high effort swing and a gap to gap approach, finding mostly barrels. When throwing from the outfield, he showed off his strong arm with throws at velocities of 91 mph;showed consistent hands, a twitchy exchange and quick footwork. While he fielded the ball to the side and showed athletic movement laterally. Showing consistent accuracy to the bag, he used a long arm action with a high ¾ slot. He showed his athleticism during the event with a sub-seven 60 time of 6.85.

Chase Corbin OF / 3B / Silo, OK / 2021 A 5-foot-11, 158-pound; OF/3B. At the plate, the switch hitter had an exit velocity of 79 mph. Started in a balanced stance, had a small load and used a short stride to initiate his swing. Had a flat swing plane and had a level finish. Displayed an average effort swing and a base hit approach to all fields. From the outfield, his best throws to the bases were registered at 81 mph; showed developing feet and a clean exchange. In the infield, his position velocity was registered at 76 mph. Had a long arm action and a high ¾ slot with consistent accuracy to the base. During the event, he clocked a 60 time of 7.18.

Brance Garrett LHP / OF / Yukon , OK / 2023  A 5-foot-11, 180-pound lean frame; LHP/OF. At the plate, the left-handed hitter clocked an exit velocity of 81 mph. Starts in a tall stance with a wrapping load, then uses a leg kick just before his swing. Shows above average bat speed and an upward swing plane, and he ends his swing with good extension on his finish. In BP shows a pull approach with lift, some barrels. His best position velocity in the outfield was registered at 77 mph; showed a fluid exchange, consistent hands and quick footwork. Used a short arm action with a high ¾ slot. During the event, he recorded a 60 time of 8.33.

Gunner Head OF / RHP / Shawnee, OK / 2022 A 5-foot-8, 120-pound slim frame; OF/RHP. During batting practice, the right-handed hitter clocked an exit velocity of 81 mph. Started in an open stance, had a choppy load and used a leg kick to start his swing. Bat speed is average, has a flat swing plane and a low finish. In BP, shows a spray approach to all fields with some lift, found some barrels. In the outfield, his best throw of the day was clocked at 71 mph;showed a clean exchange and quick feet. Showing decent accuracy to the bases, he used a high ¾ slot and a short arm action. He clocked a 60 time of 7.7 at the event.

Jaxson Meadors OF / 2B / Edmond Santa Fe, OK / 2022 A 5-foot-9, 140-pound slim frame; OF/2B. At the plate, the right-handed hitter had a max exit velocity of 76 mph. Starts in a balanced an open  stance, has a small load and uses a short stride to start his swing. Exhibited average bat speed, as well as a flat swing plane and a level finish. In BP, shows a middle to opposite field and mostly flat approach, found mostly barrels.  In the outfield, his best throws to the infield topped out at 76 mph;his feet were quick and his exchange was lengthy. From an-over-the-top slot, he showed consistent accuracy to the bag with a loose arm action. During the event, he recorded a 60 time of 7.07.

Landon Ray OF / C / Coweta, OK / 2021 A 5-foot-6, 155-pound athletic frame; OF/C. During batting practice, the right-handed hitters best exit velocity was 81 mph. Began in an open stance with a smooth load, then used a toe tap to start his swing. Exhibited a level swing plane, as well as rapid bat speed and a high finish. In BP, shows a pull approach with occasional lift, found some barrels. From the outfield, he displayed a position velocity of 82 mph;had a quick exchange, quick footwork and sure hands. Showed athletic movements laterally. Showing very consistent accuracy to the bag, he had a high ¾ slot with a compact arm action. He recorded a 60 time of 7.25 at the event.

Brody Roe OF / LHP / Morrison , OK / 2022 A 5-foot-10, 130-pound slim frame; OF/LHP. At the plate, the left-handed hitter had an exit velocity of 81 mph. Began in a balanced stance, had a smooth load and used a toe tap. Displays a level swing plane, average bat speed and a level finish. In BP, shows a middle to opposite field approach with occasional lift, found mostly barrels. His best position velocity in the outfield was registered at 75 mph;had a clean exchange, quick feet and sure hands. Showing consistent accuracy to the bases, he used a long arm action with a high ¾ slot. In the 60-yard dash, he clocked a time of 7.4.

Grayson Tempest OF / RHP / Union, OK / 2023 A 5-foot-8, 140-pound athletic frame; OF/RHP. During batting practice, the right-handed hitters best exit velocity was 76 mph. Starts in a balanced stance with a smooth load, then uses a short stride before his swing. Displays a level swing plane, as well as quick bat speed and a high finish. In BP, shows a middle to opposite field approach, found some barrels. In the outfield, he showed the ability to make throws to the bases at 72 mph;showed a quick exchange, hard hands and quick feet. Showed average movements laterally and fielded with ball to the side. Had a stiff arm action and a ¾ slot with some accuracy to the bag. He performed well in the 60-yard dash, clocking a speedy time of 6.95.

Eric Thompson OF / RHP / Bishop Kelley, OK / 2022 A 6-foot-1, 165-pound lean frame; OF/RHP. During batting practice, the right-handed hitter had an exit velocity of 86 mph. Begins in an athletic stance, has a smooth load and uses a long stride to start his swing. Has explosive bat speed, as well as an upward swing plane and a high finish. In BP, shows a gap-to-gap approach with some pull pop, mostly barrels. His best position velocity in the outfield was registered at 83 mph;displayed quick feet, consistent hands and a lengthy exchange. Showing consistent accuracy to the bases, he used a long arm action with a high ¾ slot. He performed well in the 60-yard dash, clocking a speedy time of 6.97.

Kaden Wickersham RHP / OF / Southmoore , OK / 2021 A 6-foot-2, 165-pound projectable frame; RHP/OF. At the plate, the right-handed hitter's best exit velocity was 85 mph. Started in an open a wide  stance, had a small load and used a short stride. Displayed above average bat speed and a level swing plane, and he ended his swing with a level finish. In BP, shows a middle to pull approach with occasional lift and some pop, mostly barrels. In the outfield, his best throws to the infield topped out at 86 mph;displayed sure hands, a quick exchange and quick footwork. Had a long arm action and a ¾ slot with consistent accuracy to the base. During the event, he recorded a 60 time of 7.13.

Rhylan Wright OF / LHP / Jenks, OK / 2022 A 5-foot-11, 155-pound; OF/LHP. During batting practice, the left-handed hitter recorded an exit velocity of 81 mph. Started in a balanced stance with a wrapping load, then used a long stride before his swing. Had a flat swing plane, quick bat speed and a level finish. In BP, shows a gap-to-gap approach with occasional lift, found mostly barrels. Recorded an outfield position velocity of 78 mph;had quick feet and a quick exchange. Showing consistent accuracy to the bases, he used a high ¾ slot and a short arm action. He clocked a 60 time of 7.12 at the event.
