Prep Baseball Report Oklahoma hosted the third annual OK Fall Top Prospect Games on Sunday, October 28th, at the beautiful remodeled Wendell Simmons Field on the campus of Central Oklahoma. The event showcased a sold out 77 player roster from the 2022-2019 grad classes. Each position player went through a pro-style workout and played in a scrimmage where pitchers threw live. 

This extremely talented event saw impressive numbers in every category, including nine arms that were 85+ mph, seven sub 7 60s, four 90+ exit velos, and three sub 2 sec pop times.

Today, we take a look at the 16 outfielders from the event. Though a few of the players here are talented two-way player, they will be covered here as first baseman only with pitching analysis already on their profiles.

Hudson Campbell OF / Rejoice Christian, OK / 2021 A 6-foot-2, 170-pound long and projectable frame with plenty of room to add size and strength. Offensively, the left-handed hitter bats from an even and back leg heavy set-up with rhythm throughout. Uses a moderate and quick leg kick before pulling his hands through a flat path through extension with length. In BP, shows a middle to pull and flat/ground approach, some barrels, 74 mph exit velo. Runs a 7.82 60. Defensively, shows some aggressive actions, uses a quick step behind and full arm stroke coming through a near over the top slot with some accuracy at 75 mph. In the game, went 1-for-2 with a line drive single into right field.

Chance Cox OF / LHP / Mustang , OK / 2021 A lean, projectable, and quick twitch 6-foot-1, 165-pound frame with plenty of room to add size and strength. Offensively, the left-handed hitter bats from an open and back leg heavy set-up with some rhythm in his hands. Uses a moderate leg kick at times and a reverse toe-tap at others before launching his hands on a flat path with some length, bat speed, and a high finish. In BP, shows a middle to opposite field and flat approach, some barrels, 89 mph. Runs a 6.79 60. Defensively, shows clean, confident and athletic actions in the outfield, charging the ball well. Throws with a quick shuffle step and full arm stroke coming through a high-¾ slot with advanced arm strength and some accuracy at 89 mph.

Kyle Duffey RHP / OF / Norman High, OK / 2019 A long and projectable 6-foo-5, 175-pound frame with lots of room to add size and strength. Offensively, the right-handed hitter bats from a relaxed, upright, and slightly front foot heavy set-up with rhythm throughout. Uses a moderate leg kick, stride, and hand load before launching them on a flat path through extension. In BP, shows a middle of the field and flat approach with some bat speed, mostly barrels, 86 mph exit velo. Runs a 7.51 60. Defensively, shows clean, confident, and deliberate actions in the outfield. Throws with a full arm stroke coming through an over the top slot with arm strength and accuracy at 86 mph from the outfield.

Caden Favors LHP / OF / Carl Albert, OK / 2020 A long and projectable 6-foot-1, 178-pound frame. Offensively, the right-handed hitter bats from a back leg heavy and slightly knock-kneed set-up with slight rhythm in his hands. Uses a smooth load with an early stride and late heel plant before launching his hands on a flat path through extension with some length, hitting from his front foot. In BP, shows a gap-to-gap approach with occasional lift, mostly barrels, 74 mph exit velo. Defensively, shows deliberate and clean actions in the outfield, uses a quick step behind with a full arm stroke coming through a high-¾ slot with excellent accuracy and carry at 84 mph.

Dylan Gettinger OF / 2B / Claremore , OK / 2019 A proportional 5-foot-7, 155-pound frame. Offensively, the right-handed hitter bats from a slightly wide, quiet, and athletic stance. Uses a short and controlled leg lift with a slight arm bar before launching his hands on a flat path through extension. In BP, shows a middle of the field and flat/ground approach, some barrels early and good late, 75 mph exit velo. Runs a 7.37 60. Defensively, shows a quickness and aggressiveness coming through the ball in the outfield. Throws with a moderate arm stroke through a high-¾ slot with accuracy at 73 mph.

Patrick Hunter OF / Clinton, OK / 2019 A proportional 6-foot-3, 190-pound frame with some room to add size and strength. Offensively, the left-handed hitter bats from an even, balanced, and quiet set-up. Uses a quick and moderate leg lift and hand load before launching them on a flat path through extension. In BP, shows a middle of the field and flat approach, some barrels early and almost all late, 84 mph exit velo. Runs a 7.03 60. Defensively, shows deliberate and clean actions in the outfield. Throws with a long arm stroke coming through a high-¾ slot with some arm strength and accuracy at 83 mph.

Zac Johnson OF / RHP / Westmoore, OK / 2019 A 5-foot-8, 180-pound frame with some strength throughout. Offensively, the right-handed hitter bats from an open and back leg heavy setup with some rhythm in his hands. Uses a moderate and controlled leg kick before launching his hands on a flat and efficient path to contact with bat speed and barrel strength with a rotational finish. In BP, shows a  middle to pull approach with occasional lift and pop, some barrels, 93 mph exit velo. Runs a 7.00 60. Defensively, shows deliberate, clean, and confident actions. Throws with a full arm stroke through an over the top slot with excellent carry, accuracy, and arm strength at 86 mph from the outfield. In the game, went 2-for-3 with two line drive singles.

Hayden Key LHP / OF / Epic Charter School, OK / 2020 A lean and athletic 5-foot-11, 175-pound frame with quick twitch actions and room to add size and strength. Offensively, the left-handed hitter bats from an even and slightly back leg heavy set-up with his barrel tipped towards the pitcher and some rhythm in his hands. Uses a moderate stride before launching his hands on a flat path through extension with some length. In BP, shows a middle to opposite field and most flat approach, some barrels, 81 mph exit velo. Runs an elite 6.65 60. Defensively, shows clean, confident, and athletic actions in the outfield. Throws with a full arm stroke through a ¾ slot with advanced arm strength and some accuracy at 89 mph.

Brendan Kirchhoff OF / RHP / Southmoore , OK / 2020 A developing 5-foot-9, 135-pound frame with lots of room to add size and strength. Offensively, the right-handed hitter bats from an upright, relaxed, narrow, and slightly open set-up with rhythm in his hands. Uses a moderate stride before launching his hands on a flat path through extension, hitting from his front foot. In BP, shows an all fields and flat approach, mostly barrels, 81 mph exit velo. Runs an advanced 6.69 60. Defensively, shows clean, athletic, and confident actions, charging the ball well and getting rid of it quickly. Throws with a full arm stroke coming through a high-¾ slot with some arm strength and accuracy at 84 mph from the outfield. In the game, went 1-for-3 with a line drive through the right side.

Gunner Phillips RHP / OF / Edmond Memorial, OK / 2021 A lean and projectable, 6-foot, 156-pound frame with lots of room to add size and strength. Offensively, the right-handed hitter bats from an even and front foot heavy set-up with some rhythm in his hands. Uses a reverse toe-tap with a long stride and hand load before launching his hands on a flat path through extension. In BP, shows a middle to opposite field approach with some barrels early and finish strong, 82 mph exit velo. Runs a 7.52 60. Defensively, shows clean, confident, and aggressive actions. Throws with a short arm stroke coming through an over the top slot with accuracy and some carry at 78 mph from the outfield.

Eli Riggs RHP / OF / Stillwater, OK / 2019 A durable 5-foot-11, 195-pound frame with some strength throughout. Offensively, the right-handed hitter bats from a back leg heavy and athletic set-up with some rhythm in his hands. Uses a moderate leg kick and long stride before launching his hands on a flat and efficient path through extension. In BP, shows a flat and pull approach flashing some pop, some barrels, 82 mph exit velo. Runs a 7.52 60. Defensively, shows advanced clean, confident, and athletic actions. Throws with a full arm stroke coming through an over the top slot with advanced arm strength and accuracy at 88 mph from the outfield.

David Salters LHP / OF / Christian Heritage Academy, OK / 2019 A proportional 6-foot-1, 175-pound frame with some room to add size and strength. Offensively, the left-handed hitter bats from a front foot heavy crouch with some rhythm in his hands. Uses a moderate and quick leg lift before launching his hands on a flat path to contact with a high finish. In BP, shows a middle to pull ground ball approach, found a few barrels, 88 mph exit velo. Runs a 7.31 60. Defensively, shows clean and confident actions. Throws with a moderate and quick crow hop and a full arm stroke coming through a high-¾ slot with some accuracy at 83 mph from the outfield.

Joyal Savage OF / Silo, OK / 2019 A lean and projectable 6-foot-2, 170-pound frame with lots of room to add size and strength. Offensively, the right-handed hitter bats from an open, back leg heavy, and athletic set-up with slight rhythm in his hands. Uses a small leg lift and moderate stride before launching his hands on a flat and efficient path through extension. In BP, shows a middle to opposite field approach with occasional lift and some pop, mostly barrels, 88 mph exit velo. Runs a 6.87 60. Defensively, shows advanced, clean, confident, and athletic actions. Throws with a full arm stroke coming through a near over the top slot with advanced arm strength and accuracy at 89 mph from the outfield. In the game, went 2-for-2 with a triple to the left-center field gap and line drive single to right.

Cameron Talburt OF / LHP / Bishop Kelley, OK / 2021 A proportional 5-foot-7, 165-pound frame. Offensively, the right-handed hitter bats from an even and balanced set-up with rhythm throughout. Uses a big leg kick and moderate stride with an arm-bar load before launching his hands on flat path through extension. In BP, shows an all field and flat approach, some barrels, 75 mph exit velo. Runs a 7.05 60. Defensively, shows clean and confident actions in the outfield. Throws with a moderate arm stroke through a near over the top slot with some accuracy at 74 mph from the outfield.

Jett Tucker OF / 3B / Owasso , OK / 2021 An advanced 6-foot-3, 185-pound frame with some strength. Offensively, the right-handed hitter bats from a narrow, open, and relaxed set-up with rhythm in his low set hands. Uses a moderate stride and slight hand load before launching his hands on a flat path to contact with a high finish. Matthew Turpen OF / RHP / Owasso, OK / 2019 A physically advanced 6-foot-2, 210-pound frame with strength throughout. Offensively, the right-handed hitter bats from a wide, athletic, and quiet set-up. Uses a smooth load and short stride before launching his hands on a slightly uphill path through extension with bat speed and barrel strength. In BP, shows a middle to opposite field approach with some lift and consistent pop, 87 mph exit velo. Runs a 6.95 60. Defensively, shows clean, confident, and deliberate actions. Kyler Williams OF / RHP / Canute, OK / 2019 The recent Tabor commit has a long and lean 6-foot-1, 175-pound projectable frame. Offensively, the right-handed hitter bats from a back leg heavy, even, and athletic set-up with some rhythm in his hands. Uses an arm bar load and moderate stride before launching his hands on a slightly uphill path through extension with some bat speed. In BP, shows a pull approach with some lift, mostly barrels and much more pop than his 81 mph exit velo would suggest. Runs a 6.96 60. Defensively, shows advanced, clean, confident and athletic actions. Throws with a full arm stroke through a high-¾ slot with some accuracy at 81 mph from the outfield.
