Fall Underclass Games: Quick Hits

Scott Hood
OK/MO/KS/ARK Assistant Scouting Director

Prep Baseball Oklahoma hosted the Fall Underclass Games on October 8th at Oral Roberts University featuring players from all across the state with players from the 2026 and 2027 grad classes.  The event featured a full slate with vizual edge testing, laser timed 60's, jumping data, BP with Trackman and Blast Motion, defensive evaluations with radar gun readings, and a live game with pitching data captured by Trackman.  There were multiple players that stood out at the event with strong performances both in the workout and during gameplay.  Today we'll take a look at a few players that stood out on the day.  Be on the lookout in the coming days for more from the event with deeper dives into some of the data collected.

Jake Beutler LHP / OF / Canute, OK / 2026

The 2-way from Canute impressed in our looks at him this past summer and showed well again at the Underclass Games showing big potential from both sides of the ball.  The left-handed hitter shows some pull side pop with the barrel staying in the zone a long time.  During the game, Beutler showed himself to be a tough out and projects to be one of the more dangerous hitters in the class.  He also jumped on the mound and worked the fastball up to 83 mph and showed strong shape on the breaking ball and a potential swing and miss changeup.

Bentley Seeberger C / RHP / Duncan, OK / 2027

The freshman from Duncan continues to show why he is considered one of the more physical players in the class from around the state.  The ball can jump off the barrel from the right side with exit velocities up to 93 mph and a strong average of 86 mph from across the round.  Seeberger's best tool might be his arm strength that he uses both from behind the plate but also in the outfield where he reached 87 mph.  The arm strength carries over to the mound where he led the way at the event reaching up to 86 mph and showed a feel for hard curveball at 80 mph.  With his already physical build and present tools, look for Seeberger to make a quick impact on the high school scene soon.

Jackson Turney 1B / LHP / Sand Springs, OK / 2026

It's been well-documented over the past year how well Turney handles the bat from the left side.  He burst onto the scene picking up some big hits for Sand Springs last spring and continued to show his power potential during BP at the Underclass Games.  Turney led the way at the event with the top exit velocity from the event at 94.3 mph with balls jumping off the barrel to the pull side.  Turney has some of the quicker hands through the zone and has really started to make big strides with his build, shaping it into a more leaner frame that should help with moving the barrel in the future.

Eddie Fish SS / 2B / Yukon, OK / 2026

Fish showed his strong athleticism at the event running a 6.86 which is good for third from the event and tied with the highest vertical jump at 32.5 inches.  The athleticism carried over into the batter's box where he uses his quick twitch swing to reach exit velocities up to 92.8 mph and spraying it all over the field.  Fish also shined defensively during gameplay where he flashed advanced lateral range and smooth glove action.  With his athleticism and strong body control in the field, Fish should profile as a guy to stay on the left side especially as he continues to add strength in the future.

Koen Isaacson SS / 2B / Edmond Memorial, OK / 2027

Edmond Memorial has put out some strong infielders in the past couple of years and Isaccson looks to continue that trend for the Bulldogs.  The left-handed hitter put together one of the stronger rounds of BP rounds on the day reaching exit velocities up to 92.7 mph with strong barrel control.  To match the physicality, Isaacson is also showing strong levels of athleticism running an event second best 6.85 60 giving him the profile to where he could play all over the field.  He also flashed some potential on the mound where he has an athletic delivery and reaching fastball velocities up to 80 mph.

Tyler Robinson SS / OF / Edmond Memorial , OK / 2026

Robinson continued to show why he is one of the more exciting athletes in the class and is starting to make some jumps in his strength as well.  Robinson led the event with a 6.8 60 and showing some explosiveness with a 32.5 inch vertical jump.  Robinson is starting to see the ball jump off the barrel more with exit velocities reaching up to 88 mph thanks to advanced hand speed through the zone.  With his strong mechanics and present athleticism, Robinson should continue to make big jumps as he continues to add strength.

Brock Copass C / 3B / Bixby , OK / 2027

Copass has always shown strong potential on both sides of the ball thanks to advanced tools for the class and his physical 6-foot-1 and 190 pounds.  Copass uses his strong rotation around the core to produce exit velocities up to 89.1 with strong bat speed as well.  Defensively, when synced up, Copass shows strong carry and accuracy to the bag from behind the plate with pop times as low as 2.0.  Where Copass might have made his biggest jump from when we saw him over the summer is his work on the mound.  While we've seen high velocities from him in the past, Copass showed much more poise on the mound with higher pitchability at the Underclass Games.  With his work on both sides of the ball, look for Copass to be one of the more intriguing 2-way prospects in the coming years out of the 2027 class.

Brysen Donnell OF / 2B / Sapulpa, OK / 2026

Donnell continues to impress when we see him with a strong skill set and showing some athleticism making him an intriguing prospect to follow.  The left-handed hitting outfielder worked exit velocities up to 87.5 mph with an athletic swing and quick hands working through the zone.  Donnell's best attribute might be how he seems to slow the game down and perform at a high level during gameplay with a strong feel for the barrel in the zone.

Eli Enzbrenner SS / RHP / Bishop Kelley , OK / 2026

The switch hitting shortstop had a strong showing at the Underclass Games that saw the projectable 6-foot-2 and 160-pound middle infielder shine in both the workout as well as the game.  Enzbrenner started the workout showing his athleticism running a 6.94 laser timed 60.  Eli showed quick hands through the zone from both sides of the plate with barrel staying in the zone a long time.  With the projectability from his size and athleticism paired with his already strong skill set, look for Enzbrenner to start to make a name for himself in the coming years and should be one to keep an eye on.

Jensen Penn LHP / 1B / Sapulpa, OK / 2027

While there were others that flashed higher velocities on the mound, Penn's pitchability from the left side shined at the Underclass Games.  The left-hander worked the fastball in the mid to upper 70's, but showed strong hand speed and ability to land a well-shaped breaking ball in the zone to pick up swing and miss.   Penn has a strong feel for pitching for the 2027 class and should continue to see big jumps in the future.

Braylon White SS / 2B / Dale , OK / 2027

White is coming off his first varsity season, getting some action for Dale in the Fall season.  White has already started to build his resume as a strong defender up the middle and showed a little more with the bat than what might have been expected at the Underclass Games.  White had exit velocities up to 90.2 mph thanks to quick hands and strong rotational acceleration.  He had a strong showing during BP and carried that over into showing some advanced hand strength at the plate during the game.  With his strong defensive abilities and that bat starting to come around, don't be surprised to see White continue to make big strides in the coming years.
