Today, PBR Oklahoma will take an in-depth look at three middle infielders in the 2018 class that have stood out in the early fall. Each of the three brings a different advanced tool to the table.

Alexander Andrews, SS, Edmond Santa Fe HS
A 5-foot-11, 155-pound wiry frame, room to add size and strength. Defensively, good angles, sure hands, accurate arm with carry, clean actions, natural instincts. Made tough backhand plays look routine. Offensively, right-handed hitter, middle-pull approach, stays behind the baseball. Upright open stance, leg kick, level plane through contact.

 Carter Dobrinski, SS, Bristow HS
A 5-foot-11, 180-pound sturdy frame, strength throughout. Offensively, right-handed hitter, line to line approach, bat speed, quick hands, good hand eye. Athletic stance, great rhythm, smooth load, leg kick, strides slightly open. Went 3/4, two doubles against junior college pitching.  Defensively, sure hands,  average range, accurate arm showed some strength and carry. May profile even better at the corner for the next level.  

Brock Shreiner, 2B, Choctaw HS
A 6-foot, 160-pound athletic frame. Elite runner, reported 6.59 60, 4.54 on the turn to second. Defensively, excellent lateral movement, quick hands,  developing arm strength. Offensively, right-handed hitter, middle-pull approach, quick hands. Balanced wide stance, short stride, short to the ball, flat path to contact.
