PBR OK strives to be the most comprehensive source of player information across the state. The Prep Baseball Report is the No. 1 resource for high school baseball in each state we cover through our variety of events, boots-on-the-ground scouting staff, daily coverage, and multimedia platforms. Our multimedia platforms and events work in tandem, ultimately creating the most powerful source of high school baseball promotion in each state. While other organizations take a national approach, our goal is to become the authoritative voice on the ground level of each state.

The 15 Oklahoma participants at the PBR Future Games came in with some hype, but were mostly unknown on the national scene. During the showcase and games, the OK players made a case that they were not one of the most talented groups in attendance this year, but one of the best groups in the history of the Future Games. All 15 players came into the Future Games uncommitted, and in the two months since the games, eight have committed to schools in either the Big 12 or SEC. Below are scouting reports on each player from the event.

Connor Beichler SS / 2B / Owasso, OK / 2019

The recent Oklahoma commit is a 5-foot-10, 155-pound quick-twitch athlete and all around polished baseball player. Beichler is easily one of the best defenders in the state, showing elite range, sure hands, enough arm to stick at short at the next level, and an advanced baseball IQ. Offensively, the switch hitter plays to his strength with a flat, middle of the field approach, rarely swinging and missing especially from the right side, still developing consistency from the left. A 6.57 runner, plays even faster on the base paths, 3.82 and 3.85 down the line on bunts. One of the big standouts of the workout day at the Future Games.

Jace Bohrofen OF / SS / Westmoore , OK / 2020

A physically advanced 6-foot-1, 175-pound frame with strength throughout. Offensively, the left-handed hitter bats from a slightly open, relaxed, and upright set-up with rhythm in his hands. Uses a moderate stride, hand load, short and flat to contact, high finish, and high end bat speed. In BP, shows a flat and mostly pull approach with occasional lift, also possesses easy opposite field juice, almost all barrels, 91 mph exit velo. Runs a 7.1 60. Defensively, shows easy, clean, and confident actions. Throws from an over the top slot with advanced accuracy and carry, 85 mph. Arguably, one of the best left-handed swings in his class.

Kale Davis RHP / 3B / Westmoore, OK / 2019

Davis turned in one of the more impressive outings of the Future Games, and looked every bit of a future weekend starter at Oklahoma State, where he committed days later. The 6-foot-4, 210-pound right-hander showcased a loose, quick arm, and pounded the strike zone while working both corners with his fastball. He sat 86-89, and looks like he will throw even harder in the future. His crisp, clean delivery allowed him to repeat his high ¾ arm slot with ease, and should aid in his ability to continue progressing in the future. What really stood out to me, was his confidence in a near 12/6 curveball. The pitch featured big, two-tier break with tight spin at 73-76, and is already a swing and miss pitch. He demonstrates the ability to flip it over for strikes early in the count, and to get hitters to chase, later. Overall, given his big, athletic frame and loose arm, Davis should continue to get better at a rapid rate.

Dax Fulton LHP / 1B / Mustang , OK / 2020

Fulton, a recent Vanderbilt commit, has long limbs and a strong lower half at 6-foot-6, 210 pounds. He pitches with a clean, up-tempo delivery and comes through a high-3/4 slot with a fluid arm action. His fastball sits 84-87 with occasional cut. His changeup has late fade and depth at 75-77. His curveball shows excellent depth when down in the zone. It has 1/7 shape and ranges from 73-79.

Cooper Harris C / RHP / Choctaw, OK / 2020

A lean 6-foot-1, 185-pound frame with lots of room to add size and strength. Offensively, the right-handed hitter bats from an open, athletic, balanced stance with rhythm throughout. Uses a rocking load with a short stride, some length in the swing, good extension. In BP, shows a mostly middle of the field, flat approach with some pull side pop, mostly barrels, 87 mph exit velo. Defensively, shines behind the plate as an advanced receiver and blocker with strong hands. On the throws to second, shows some length in the back with arm speed and whip through a high-3/4 slot, 81 mph, 1.95-2.01 showcase pop times, some accuracy.

Cade Horton SS / RHP / Norman , OK / 2020

The recent Ole Miss commit has a 6-foot, 165-pound frame with wiry strength and plenty of room to add size and strength. Offensively, the right-handed hitter bats from a narrow and open set-up with some rhythm in his hands. Uses a hanging leg kick for timing, moderate stride, and quick hands with barrel control. In BP, shows a gap to gap approach with some lift and occasional pop, 88 mph exit velo. Runs a 7.22 60. Defensively, shows advanced hands and feet, elite athleticism on the slow roller and backhand play, throws from multiple slots, 85 mph across the diamond, with accuracy.

Nollan Koon C / 1B / Yukon , OK / 2019

A 5-foot-9, 165-pound frame with surprising strength. Offensively, the left-handed hitter excels with and smooth and connected swing that is almost always on time, very little swings and miss, even against high velo. Koon posses advanced pop to the middle and pull side, even more than his 91 mph exit velo would suggest. Behind the plate, Koon is still developing into an elite level catcher with consistent quick and clean exchanges, some accuracy, 71 mph. Pop times range from 1.99-2.19. Runs a 7.13 laser timed 60.

Kaden Marshall OF / RHP / Deer Creek , OK / 2019

A muscular 6-foot-3, 205-pound advanced frame with high-end strength throughout. Offensively, the right-handed hitter bats from an athletic, slightly back leg heavy stance with rhythm in his high set hands. Uses a smooth load with a hand-pump for timing and a short knee-knock stride, slightly uphill bat path with a high finish, some length. In BP, shows a consistently flat, all fields approach with strength and bat speed, has a knack for finding barrels, 97 mph exit velo. Runs a 6.74 60. Defensively, shows rawness in the outfield with aggressive actions. Throws with a long arm circle, above his head in the back, high-3/4 slot, 86 mph, excellent accuracy.

Hayden Minton RHP / 3B / Collinsville, OK / 2019

A 6-foot-3, 170-pound lean frame with long limbs and lots of room to add size and strength. Works from an athletic, average tempo delivery with a high leg kick, gets over his front side well. Arm circle is full and clean, comes through a low-3/4 slot, quick, loose, and whippy. Fastball flashes arm-side run ranging 84-86 mph and touched 87 a few times, even late in his second inning. Slider shows late 10/4 depth, 74-76 mph. Curveball has 11/5 shape with depth, 69-72 mph. Offensively, the left-handed hitter bats from an open and knock-kneed set-up with some rhythm in his hands. Uses a smooth and keen-knock leg kick, short and flat to the ball with a high finish. In BP, shows an all fields mostly flat approach, mostly barrels and some wirey strength, exit velo of 86 mph. Defensively, shows advanced hands and a strong arm with a quick release and accuracy, 85 mph.

Blake Robertson 3B / OF / Edmond Santa Fe, OK / 2019

A recent Oklahoma State commit, the lean 6-foot-4, 185-pound frame has room to add size and strength, very projectable. Works from an abbreviated, up-tempo wind up with a short leg kick that he repeats well. Throws with a full and fluid arm circle, high-3/4 slot, loose. Fastball sat 82-85 has been up to 87 mph. Slider shows short cutting action with occasional depth, 77-79 mph. Changeup shows consistent sink and fade, 76-77 mph. Both off speed pitches thrown with full arm speed. Worked an easy two innings, not allowing a base runner. Offensively, the left-handed hitter bats from a slightly open, relaxed, upright set-up. Uses a short leg with a moderate stride, flat path through contact, wiry strength. In BP, shows a middle to opposite field, flat approach, pull on the ground, hit some balls very hard, 90 mph exit velo. Runs a 6.91 60. At third base, shows elite hands and improving footwork that has become above average. Throws from multiple slots with ease, 79 mph across the diamond, some accuracy. Athletic enough to play first base and the outfield effectively as well, 82 mph throws.

Sam Thompson OF / Owasso, OK / 2019

A recent Texas Christian commit, the athletic and physical, 6-foot, 180-pound outfielder emerged on the workout day as a player to follow as he ran a 6.67 60-yard dash, threw 89 mph from the outfield, and had an exit velocity of 92 mph from the left side. At the plate, Thompson shows strength through the zone, and utilizes a short stride from a slightly crouched, balanced stance. His hands calmly load back after resting on his shoulder to start, and work fast through the zone on an uphill plane. His proportionally defined strength plays at the plate with some pull side power present. In the outfield, he bounces around with a twitchy first step that allows him to track down balls more easily.

Cameron Uselton OF / SS / Westmoore, OK / 2020

Jaxon Wiggins RHP / OF / Roland , OK / 2020

The recent Arkansas recruit has a long, lean, and athletic 6-foot-4, 185-pound frame with lots of room to add size and strength. Works from an average tempo delivery with below average effort. Arm comes through a 3/4 slot with ease and whip. Fastball ranges 83-87 mph with occasional late life and downhill tilt. Curveball has depth at 73-75 mph. Changeup ranges 76-78 mph with late hard fade when down in the zone. Command can be an issue at times, but the ceiling couldn't be higher.

Braylen Wimmer SS / 2B / Yukon, OK / 2019

A a recent South Carolina commits, 6-foot-1, 150-pound frame with long legs, very projectable. Offensively, the right-handed hitter bats from a balanced, athletic set-up with rhythm in his hands.
