What's New In The Top 10

Matt Ponatoski SS / RHP / Archbishop Moeller, OH / 2026

Report: Sticking at number one is Matt Ponatoski, the two-sport phenom from Moeller who tore it up this spring and on the summer circuit. Matt set a Future Games record with a 96 mph infield velocity, showing off the arm that's going to keep him on the left side of the dirt. Offensively there’s a lot to like about his approach, few high school hitters see the ball as big and as early.

Shawn Sullivan RHP / OF / Walsh Jesuit, OH / 2026

Report: Climbing up to number 3 after a stellar summer is the Roll Tide commit, Shawn Sullivan. Shawn lit up the summer circuit showing why he’s one of the top power arms in the entire midwest, with velocities in the mid 90’s and up to 97 in early August.

Landon Thiel LHP / Massillon Jackson, OH / 2026

Report: Landon Thiel (LHP, Massillon Jackson) re-enters the top 10 at number at his highest ranking yet, number 7. Landon is the type of prospect you can’t help but take notice of - a 6-foot-7, 180-pound left handed pitcher who continues to make steady jumps in his development. Coaches are high on what he could potentially look like by the time he steps on campus.

Enzo DiCocco OF / OF / Brecksville-Broadview Heights, OH / 2026

Report: Perhaps the biggest Future Games winner from Ohio, Enzo DiCocco (OF, Brecksville-Broadview Heights) joins the top 10 coming in at number 8. Enzo impressed everyone with his highly efficient left handed swing down at LakePoint. There’s an obvious feel for the game that he displays in the box, on the bases, and in the outfield. The phone has been ringing quite a bit for this northeast Ohio native.

Notable Newcomers

Logan Brown OF / SS / Buckeye High School, OH / 2026

Report: Toolsy OF from Release who had breakout summer, bringing the type of production we hoped he was capable of. Logan joins the rankings inside the top 100.

Bo Deeter SS / OF / Mariemont High School, OH / 2026

Report: The SS out of Mariemont jumps into the rankings in the top 125 after an impressive summer with Bo Jackson Elite. The 6.88 runner showed off the glove on numerous occasions displays a line to line approach at the plate.

Sean Pitrone RHP / 3B / Gilmour Academy, OH / 2026

Report: Ohio Elite’s Sean Pitrone enters the rankings in the top 150. The RHP was showed well early on this summer at TPG Trials sitting 84-86 T87. Sean has continued to show progress year after year and displayed this summer his ability to command and get ahead of hitters.

Summer Showcase Standouts

Wil Kraus SS / 2B / Oak Hills, OH / 2026

Report: Athletic SS from Oak Hills who had a great workout at TPG this summer. Wil was QB1 at Oak Hills before stepping away to focus on baseball. Should be an exciting offseason as he continues to make jumps. He’s a sub 7 runner who can run balls up to 98 mph at the plate.

Kade Romine RHP / SS / Hilliard Darby, OH / 2026

Report: Kade popped at Ohio Prospect Games getting the fastball up to 88. Kade continues to make jumps. Features a ride and run profile fastball that can get up to 19 inches of vert, paired with a 73 mph 2500 rpm slider.

Michael Mulligan OF / 1B / Bishop Watterson, OH / 2026

Report: Mulligan showed well at the Ohio Prospect Games, getting the barrel moving during BP and clocking in his highest EV of the day at 97.7. Mulligan moves well for a big left handed bat, ran a 7.03 sixty. Had a very strong summer for Ohio Elite.

Prospects To Look At This Fall

Nicholas Hood 2B / SS / St. Francis de Sales, OH / 2026

Report: One of the premier defensive players in the state who has consistently shown his ability to move the baseball against some of the best arms in the state. Hood makes a massive jump in the rankings cracking the Top 25. The Toledo native will be participating in the State Games at Chillicothe.

Caleb Driessen RHP / 1B / Badin, OH / 2026

Report: Another State Games participant this fall, Caleb is coming off a huge 2024 campaign where he led the Badin Rams on the mound in their Division 2 State Runner-Up bid. Caleb’s success continued through the summer with the Padres Scout team.

Aidan Sullivan OF / 3B / Badin, OH / 2026

Report: The outfielder has rebounded well surgery, has consistently hit well against some of the best competition the country has to offer. One of the better in-game performing outfielders in the state. Aiden will be participating in the State Games this October.

College Coaches Need to Circle Back To

Rhys Canan RHP / Walnut Hills, OH / 2026

Report: A massive winner from Future Games this summer and one of best starter profiles in the class. Rhys shows maturity beyond his years on the mound and will be a great feature to a college rotation down the road. Rhys reached the 90mph milestone this summer to go along with his +avg secondary offerings that he commands well.

Matthew Mansbery SS / 3B / Walsh Jesuit, OH / 2026

Report: Another big time performer from Future Games who we expect to be committed sooner rather than later. The lanky middle-infielder put on a clinic in BP running balls into triple digits through the gaps. He’s an above average defender who can also run.

Keaton Bowers C / SS / Hilliard Bradley, OH / 2026

Report: The top catcher in the 2026 class and a player many schools have expressed interest in. Left-handed hitting catchers are hard to come by and this one has shown a high level of feel for the barrel on a consistent basis.
