Connor McVey, IF, Mason HS, Class of 2013

6-foot, 170-pound athletic player with good raw skills. Runs 7.01 60-yard dash. Good middle infield skills. Defensively, accepts ball well and shows fluid footwork. With the bat, he hits from upright stance, squares front side with good hand load shoulder trigger. He uses the whole field.

He was selected first-team all-area last season by the Cincinnati Enquirer and named the Greater Miami Conference player of the year. He helped lead the Mason Comets to a GMC title.

During his sophomore year, he was 1st team All League in the GMC Sophomore Year 2011 (only Sophomore to make 1st team). He was also top 4 for batting average in the GMC.
