CINCINNATI - An older brother played NAIA baseball. Another is a high school senior committed to Dayton. Justin Silverstein is following in their footsteps. Visits to Marshall and Dayton have already taken place for the Turpin sophomore, who plans to check out Miami Ohio in the spring. “Since my visit, Dayton has offered,” said Silverstein, a 6-1 165-pounder. “They like my quick hands in the infield and they really stressed on that. They want me as a shortstop playing with my brother.” Jake Silverstein is a senior right-handed pitcher at Turpin, heading to play for Dayton after graduation. |
