Uncommitted Spotlight: Interest Comes Quickly For Sophomore Zak
Cole Zak OF / LHP / Mayfield, OH / 2020Rankings StateRank: 28 / POS: 8
MAYFIELD - With visits already made to Ohio State, Kent State, Wake Forest and Virginia Tech, Cole Zak is hardly a hidden gem. Talks with the likes of Ohio U, Wright State, Dayton and Michigan State have also taken place as well as participating in a camp at North Carolina. “The PBR Top Prospect Games and also videos of me hitting, those two played the biggest part,” the Mayfield sophomore said about how colleges have found out about him. “I’ve also been sending emails to coaches to tell them to see my video. My high school and summer coaches helped in that process.” A left-handed hitting outfielder as well as a southpaw on the mound, Zak admits to being a little surprised with the recruitment. |
