Scout Notes
Springboro shorstop Sean Kennedy is a very athletic player who showed good batspeed and surprising power. Shows good foot speed and very playable arm strength. Good infield skills, probably better suited as a offensive 2B/3B on the next level with an increase of projected physical strength.
Springboro junior right-handed pitcher Austin Woodby shows he is a definite mid-major D-1 to D-2 two shot guy. Showed mound presence and arm strength. Fastball velocity sat at 83-85 mph with a feel for breaking ball. Also shows bat speed as a hitter (plays third base when he is not pitching).
Junior OF Sean Pfeifer (Springboro) has tinkered hitting wise with his front side that currently has him pulling off the ball. Still powerful. athletic kid with arm strength.
Xenia junior Chad Reed did not pitch but shows athleticism in his actions.
