With the 2018 spring season right around the corner, PBR Ohio is eagerly anticipating bringing the Buckeye state the best high school coverage throughout the entire state. Starting mid-January, we began releasing team previews for teams across the state, leading into the Preseason All-State Teams as well as the Preseason State Rankings.

2018 Spring Team Preview: Rossford Bulldogs

Team Name: Rossford Bulldogs
Head Coach: Phil O’Shea
Division: III
2017 Record: 20-6
Conference Record: Northern Buckeye Conference, 11-3, 1^st
Returning Starters/Pitchers: 6/3

Coach Outlook: “The 2018 team is going to be deeper then the 2017 team. The main focus will be replacing the 117 innings that was lost to graduation. We have a handful of promising young arms that haven’t logged many varsity innings yet. If they can pick up the baton from the ‘17 class, 2018 could be another special season.”

PBR Outlook: The 2017 season was great for the Bulldogs and coach O'Shea, with a NBC championship and 20 wins. In 2018, the Bulldogs bring back many starters but will have to replace some arms. If the youthful arms step up in 2018, this season could be special for Rossford.
