PBR: Why did you choose Ohio Dominican?
Parcher: I chose Ohio Dominican, because they have an outstand track record, they provide great facilities, they are providing me with and experience of a lifetime, and they offer the major and minor I intend to student while I am on campus.

PBR: What other schools were you considering?
Parcher: I was considering Lake Erie College, Heidleberg University, Ohio-Wesleyan, and a few others.

PBR: Where did Ohio Dominican first see you? How did your relationship develop with Coach Page?
Parcher: ODU first spotted me in the Napoleon Riverbandits fall league, where they got three freshman. (Austin Monnin. Austin Bueter, and Trey Keegan)

PBR: Coach Page has made Ohio Dominican a baseball powerhouse. What will it be like to play under the legendary coach?
Parcher: I think it will be a great experience. Coach Page is a well respected individual and he is very knowledgeable about the game. Playing under Coach Page will be an honor.

PBR: What role do the coaches expect you to play your first year on campus?
Parcher: Coach Page and Coach Wallace told me I would compete for a starting spot such as first base or third base, but they believe I can step in and hit in my freshman year.

PBR: What is your biggest strength as a player and how do you feel that you will help Ohio Dominican?
Parcher: My biggest strength is being able to play on teams with such good, hard working players. They pushed me to become a better athlete and a better individual. I also feel this will help me learn the ODU baseball program and players as soon as possible.

PBR: What summer team do you play on and how has travel baseball helped your development as a player?
Parcher: I played American Legion Baseball for the Napoleon Riverbandits Post#300. Playing on this team gave me a glimpse of how college baseball will be with the travel, the compition, and the responsibility required to succeed at the next level.

PBR: What was the most memorable experience from this summer?.
Parcher: I have three actually. One is winning the American Legion State Championship in Lancaster, Ohio. My second is being able to compete in the American Legion Midwest National Regional where we finished runner up. And our team trip to Alaska for two weeks. It was all just an experience of a lifetime and I spent it with a great group of individuals.

PBR: Who has had the biggest impact on you as a baseball player?.
Parcher: My parents Pat and Sheila Parcher, because they are the two that have spent time working with me in the backyard, challenging me, taking me to practices and games, and building a batting cage in our backyard to practice.

PBR: Who is the toughest pitcher that you have faced in Ohio?
Parcher: I would have to say Anthony Kidston from Defiance. He has great control. He hides the ball until the last second. Anthony has a sharp break on his curveball and he has the best change-up I have faced.
