PBR: Why did you choose Youngstown State?
Snyder: I chose Youngstown State because not only was it a perfect fit athletically, but also academically. I also believe that their baseball program is on the rise to become a great baseball school.
PBR: What other schools were you considering?
Snyder: West Virginia and Morehead State
PBR: Where did the coaching staff first see you and how did your relationship develop?
Snyder: They saw me at a winter showcase during my junior year and from then on, they followed me all throughout my high school season into the summer.
PBR: This summer you participated in PBR’s Top Prospects Games. How did your performance help you in the recruiting process?
Snyder: I was able to compete against the best players in Ohio and was able to see what kind of competition I was up against for finding a college that was a perfect fit for me.
PBR: How does it feel to be a part of a Division 1 baseball program?
Snyder: Fantastic! It's been my dream ever since I was a little kid playing tee ball! I feel incredibly blessed!
PBR: Who do you play for in the summer and what was the most memorable experience from this summer?
Snyder: I play for the Astro Falcons during the summer. My most memorable experience was being able to play with some of the best talent on the Ohio and Pennsylvania border!
PBR: What person has the great impact on your baseball career and why?
Snyder: For me there is no solo person. The people who have had the greatest impact on my career are all my coaches for giving me the opportunity to be where I am today and my family for supporting me through my whole baseball career.
PBR: What were your stats this spring season at Middletown Springfeidl?
Snyder: I batted .533 with 45 runs, 40 hits, 24 RBIs, 13 stolen bases, and a .720 slugging percentage.
PBR: Who is the toughest pitcher that you have faced in Ohio?
Snyder: Dave Lemasters who is a Lake Erie College commit.
